Jacob's POV

'Where are you going?', I asked Sophia
'To have shower', she said
'No love you will catch cold, it's really unhealthy to have shower at night', I said
'Jeez Jacob you sound like my mum', she laughed as she closed the door and soon I heard water running.
'Never listen', I whispered shaking my head. I too changed into track pants.
As I was walking out of the closet I saw Sophia sitting in front of the mirror drying her hair. I took the towel from her as I strted drying her hair.
'You are good at this', She smiled
'Thanks', I smiled back.
'Lets sleep now', I said as I picked her up and put her on the bed. I slipped in as I pulled her close to me.
'Good night love', I said kissing her head.
'Good night Jacob', she said snuggling close to me.
Sophia has been comfortable around me lately and me and my wolf kinda feel happy but I really don't wanna jinx it by saying it out loud.

'Jacob really?', Sophia was giving me disapproving look looking at me.
'What?', I asked confused.
'You have no sense of colour coordination. Do you?', she asked as she took the tie from my hand and handed me a blue one.
'Thanks love', I smiled as I tied my tie.
'What kind of a meeting it is?', she asked
'One of the Alpha rejected his mate', I said
'Why?', she asked sorta curious
'He says she is ugly and way too young for him', I shrugged
'What do you mean young?', she asked
fixing my tie.
'Well she is 20', I said
'Have you met his mate?', I asked
'No but, I am gonna meet her today', I said
'Can I come?', she asked
'You want to join me?', I asked surprised
'Ya mean I will take it as a training meeting', she said
'I would love for you to join me sweetheart', I smiled
'Cool give me 5 minutes', she said rushing in to dress up.
She came out wearing a preety white suit with hair tucked in a bun.

'You look really beautiful Sophia', I smiled as I look at her.
'But, I kinda like your hair loose', I said
'Psst.. it gives a formal look sir', she smiled
'Off course love. Let's go then', I said as she held my hand.

'Whats this place?', she asked
'This is Rising Moon Pack, whose Alpha rejected his mate', I informed
'What's his name?', she asked
'Carter', I said
As we walked in we were greeted by the Alpha himself
'Your majesty, My Queen', he bowed
'Alpha Carter', I nodded
'Hello Alpha', Sophia smiled
'Lets go to the meeting', he said
'Oh! Alpha Carter I would like to meet the mate you rejected first', Sophia said
'Aahh.. ya off course', he said confused. He send his Beta to call her.
'My Queen', a small brunette girl bowed.
'Your majesty', she bowed not looking at us.
'Whats your name?', Sophia asked
'Roma', she said softly.
'Roma can I talk to you personally', Sofia asked as she nodded
'Jacob why don't you go ahead I will join you guys in a moment', she said
'Rupert's gonna be with you', I said as she nodded. She held Roma's hand as she walked out with Rupert hot on her heels.
'Shall we?', Alpha Carter asked as I nodded following him to the meeting.
'Alpha King', the council stood up as they saw me.
'Have a seat', I said as I took a seat at the head of the table.
'Call Ms. Roma' one of the person said
'Luna Queen and Ms. Roma are having chat outside. They will join us soon', Alpha Carter informed.
'We will start', I said as Carter stood up to present himself.
'Alpha King, I would like to reject my mate', he stated simply. I wonder whether she is his mate or not he donot feel a bit of pain.
'We figured that out Alpha Carter but why?', I asked
'She is way too young and not fit enough to stand beside and Alpha', he said
'Or you fucked some white and now she is pregnant with your baby', Sophia voice boomed in the whole conference room as the room grew silent.
Everyone stood up seeing her as she simply walked still holding hands with Roma.
'But, guess what sir, he is not your kid, she cheated but you deserve nothing less though', Sophia said as everyone was surprised.
'No there is nothing', Carter stuttered.
'I am gonna cross this room so fast you won't have time to run and hide Carter', she said I could literally see fire in her. I simply laid back and watch my mate been an exceptional queen that she is.
'No there is nothing like this', Carter said looking down.
'Rupert can you please bring Denise and Albert for me', Sophia asked
'Now no one will utter a word till the time asked', Sophia said as she swiftly sat down beside me.
'Sit down Carter', Sophia said pointing to a chair.
Soon Rupert bought a man who is blonde he was quite built seems like a warrior.
'Luna this is Albert and Denise', Rupert said. Sophia looked at me and signalled me to say to which I was confused.
'Ahh.. Denise you know Carter is not your mate', I asked
'Yes your majesty', she nodded
'Then who is your mate?', I asked
'Albert', she said
'Albert whose pup is Denise carrying?', I asked
'Carter', he said looking down.
'Albert tell the truth I can can smell your lie', I demanded.
'Whose kid it is?', I asked and now I am getting really impatient.
'It's mine', he whispered
'What?', Carter shouted
'Denise you said the baby is mine', he yelled.
'I rejected my mate for you. How could you?', he said
'Silence', I said
'Now Denise do you have an issue with accepting you mate?', I asked
'No your majesty. I accept my mate Albert', she said looking at Albert.
'Albert?', I questioned
'I accept Denise', he said.
'Good. Now it's done then', I said as I stood up. I offered my hand to Sophia as she quietly took it.
'Roma is gonna come with me', Sophia said. I nodded with questioning her I know she is not gonna let Carter go by easy.
'Roma pack your stuff', Sophia said as she quietly went to upstairs.
'I am sorry My Queen', Carter said
'Well it seem like Roma is to ugly to be on your side. So I will take her with me',
'

No you can't do it', Carter as he held Roma
'Watch me', Sophia held Roma as she took her to the car.
'To what authority are you doing this. Your are not even marked', Carter said as I growled
'I need no mark to prove myself Carter a queen is a queen crown or no crown', Sophia said slowly as she pulled Roma in the car.
'Lets go Rupert', I said s we drove back to palace.
