reader is female, but you can read them as gender-neutral!

sorry if this isn't up to par— i'm not well versed with crossovers or mixing universes and stuff, so this was a nice challenge.  i'd be more than happy to rewrite this or write something else if you'd like!

oh, and i may be starting a patreon for my art and writing, since this can take a while, and i was wondering if anyone would support?

enjoy!

You patted your pockets, finding your phone

You patted your pockets, finding your phone. You sighed in relief and took it out, hiding behind a large rock to hide the technology. You unlocked it and scanned to make sure that everything was still there, happy to find everything in its proper place. You glanced over the rock to meet a pair of grey eyes, startling you and making you shout and fall backwards.

"Are you okay?!" The bald boy leaned over the rock and waited for you to stand up. You shook yourself off and stood, glaring up at him and ignoring his worried look.

"I'm fine."  You fixed your hair and eyed the boy, now starting to recognise him.  "You're Aang, the Avatar."

"I am!  Do I know you?"  He cocked his head, eyebrows furrowed in confusion.  He looked from your shoes to your head and back down.  "How come you 're dressed like that?"

"Jeans and a shirt?  Right, you wear robes and stuff."

The boy looked even more confused, so you laughed and glanced around yourself. "Hey, where are your friends?"

"How do you know about them?"

"I'll tell you all about it."  You smiled down at him and he hesitated for a moment before taking your wrist and pulling you along with him.

No more than a few weeks later, you were already best friends with Toph and Sokka.  The blind girl, having felt your heartbeat when you told your lame story of not knowing anything, knew that you weren't from "around here" and were as confused as they were.  You and Katara were okay, but she would scold you for running off randomly.  (You were checking to see if there was any service. There wasn't.)

You and Aang were close as well, but you tried to distance yourself when he would stare at you before answering a question or responding to anything, like he was in a trance.  You recognised the look.

You were leaning against a wall—yes, a random wall.  Toph may have made it for you, but you weren't exactly sure.  You slyly took out your phone and unlocked it and opened Tik Tok, trying to see if the videos would at least load.  And of course; they didn't.

You sighed, annoyed, and pocketed your phone before anyone could scold or bother you but alas, someone had finally caught you. "(Y/N)! What was that?"
