Chapter 9

Jada POV

It's been 10 years and I'm still the same Jada just older. I have a beautiful daughter named Mya. She one the most best things that has ever came into my life. If it wasn't for her being brought into this world I wouldn't even be with Jay anymore. Me having Mya brought us closer together as friends and in a relationship. Jay and I haven't been on the best of terms in private. We argue a lot and it's to the point where I cry myself to sleep. Like last night we argued because he didn't come home until 12 at night when he got off earlier that day, and then when I asked him what he was doing he lied and said he was still working. I know for a fact he wasn't working because I talked to Kehlani, and Kehlani asked Trey was he home and she said yeah, so he was lying. But I just let it slide honestly. I didn't feel like getting into it because it was late and I was tired and plus my child was in the other room. I'm gonna be blunt and honest. I fell out of love with Jay a long time ago. The only reason I was sticking with him was because Mya, but my happiness was important too, and right now I wasn't happy. So since we were all reuniting together I was going to tell everybody the truth and how I've been feeling. Right now everybody was at Kehlani house all the kids and grownups. We were just chilling and talking about old times together.

"It's crazy how we all met in the club" Trey said
"Right. And y'all the only ones that actually got married" Qua said
"Shit I'm making it happen soon with Seven" Legend said
"Yeah while I'm still young and looking good" Seven said
"Right because don't nobody want to be getting married in they 40's " I said
"Right" Seven said

Out of the whole group everybody is split up. Me and Seven are closer than ever. Kierra and Kehlani are closer than ever. Don't get me wrong we all close friends and we all hang out with each other but it's like we have our own bestfriend in the group.

"Bae ain't nobody gone get better than you" Legend said
"Oh I know" Seven said
"So how the fuck did y'all fall for each other?" Trey asked
"I had the charm she fell in love and that's that" Legend said
"Nigga no. Anyways, when all the drama was going on and we wasn't all close, he was all I had who understood me and he wanted to be there for me and Syx. And even though he wasn't his real father he acted like one. And if he wanted me he definitely had to accept my child" Seven said
"That's right. True comes before anybody" Kehlani said
"Right and Royalty isn't mines, but I raised her so she's mine" Kierra said
"Mya is my heart. If it wasn't for her then life wouldn't even be right" I said
"That's right" Seven said
"I just wanna know what made y'all come in the club?" Qua asked
"We needed a night out" I said
"Yeah, Kehlani was an abusive relationship and we figured that she needed to get out. We wasn't looking for relationships or anything. Meeting y'all was just gods plan I guess" Kierra said
"When she met me she fell in love" Trey said
"Boy" Kehlani said
"You did bae dont cap" Trey said
"If that's what you want me to say baby then yes" Kehlani said

Everybody laughed.

"Mom, can I go to the square?" Mya asked
"With who?" I asked
"True and Camilla " Mya said
"Kehlani & Seven yall know about this?" I asked
"Girl no. TRUEE!" Kehlani screamed
"Camilla you too" Legend shouted
"What square Mya?" I asked
"The square everybody at school going to" Mya said
"I don't know Mya it's getting late" I said
"You can go" Jay said
"No she can't" I said
"Mya go ahead just don't be back late" Jay said
"Um excuse you?" I said looking at Jay
"Man she in 8th she gone be with True and Camilla she good" Jay said
"If I don't agree on it then she can't go" I said

Our arguing started to draw attention to everybody in the room.

"I'm her father right?" Jay asked
"Yes you her father but-"
"She going" Jay said

I just looked at him. I really wanted to slap the shit out of him so bad because I have been dealing with his shit for a long time and I just couldn't take it anymore, but I'm going to hold it together for a little longer. So I decided to get up and go into the kitchen. I needed to breathe before I say or do some shit I'll regret.

"What's going on?" Kehlani asked with Kierra  and Seven standing next to her
"Nothing.." I said shaking my head
"Your lying." Kierra said
"I'm not lying. I'm okay" I said
"Now you know not to lie to me" Seven said
"I'm not ready to say anything right now" I said
"Okay, but you know we here for you right? I know it's been a while since we all seen each other but I'm always here if you need me" Kehlani said
"I know. I'll tell y'all when I'm ready" I said
"Let Mya go, she's gonna be okay. " Kehlani said
"Okay" I said
"You need a drink?" Kehlani asked
"Bitch when have you started drinking?" I asked
"Since I've been living in the house with Trey, girl I need it" Kehlani said
"Hell we all need it" Seven said
"I can't" Kierra said
"Why?" Seven asked
"I'm pregnant" Kierra said
"Omg! Awww congratulations girl" Seven said
"Hopefully this one makes it" Kierra said
"Don't speak like that" I said
"Right. He/She will be in this world " Kehlani said
"That's right. Think positive"Seven said
"I'm trying y'all I'm trying. I plan on telling the guys tonight" Kierra said
"Good" I said
"Cheers to new beginnings" Kehlani said scooting our drinks
"CHEERS" We all said together

Cheers to new beginnings and a single life.

If y'all remember Jada and Jay were having problems in book 2 before she had Mya.. do y'all think this time it's really over?
