Chapter 40

Kehlani POV
Friday
10:30pm

We were all sitting in the living room. It was finally time to get Jay back.

"Alright so everybody know the plan" Trey said
"Yes" Kierra
"Yea" Qua said
"So I stay with the kids?" Seven asked
"Yea you and Legend" Trey said
"And me, Kierra, Trey , Jada , Aaliyah and Qua we all going" I said
"Okay. What time is it?" Kierra asked
"10:45pm" Qua said
"Well we need to go talk to my sister and Zay" I said
"Come on bae" Trey said

Me and Trey went upstairs to Trues room to get my sister and Zay.

"Zay and Avianna come here for a second" I said
"Okay" Avianna said

Me and Trey went to the guest room and sat down and waited on the kids.

"Where y'all at?" Zay called
"In the guest room Bro" Trey said

Avianna and Zay came and sat on the bed.

Everything okay Sis?" Avianna asked
"No we need y'all to listen, and listen carefully " I said
"Jay is in trouble. Jamir has him.. remember the stories we told y'all we went through when y'all were younger?" Trey asked
"Yeah" Avianna said
"Jamir is related to them.. we didn't know until now. He's trying to get back at for what we did to his family" Trey said
"Okay so what you want us to do?" Zay asked
"I want you to keep the younger ones safe Seven and Legend will be here but just in case something pops off y'all know what to do" Trey said
"Ight Fasho" Zay said
"Don't let them know anything we leaving in a couple mins" I said
"Okay. Be careful " Avianna said
"I will sis" I said

Zay and Avianna walked back into the room and me and Trey went back downstairs.

"What's the time now?" I asked
"10:50" Seven said
"Ight let's get moving" Trey said

We all grabbed our phones and stuff we needed. Legend and Seven were staying we needed at least two adults in the house with the kids.

"Y'all be careful and bring bro back" Legend said
"We will" Trey said

We all headed out to the car. Trey was driving which was good.

"Put the location the gps" Trey said
"Wait wait.. I'm scared" Jada said
"It's gonna be okay. Everything will be okay" I said looking at Jada

I put the location and Trey pulled off.

Trey POV

We had about a 30min drive to where Jamir wanted us to meet at I don't know why this nigga wanted to meet so far away and then it looked like we were out in the middle of nowhere.

"I have a bad feeling about this" Kierra said
"God please don't say that I'm already nervous enough" Jada said
"I'm sorry I just can't help how I feel" Kierra said
"Everybody just calm down. We will be alright we just pray" I said
"Yea we pray" Kehlani said

30mins later.....

We finally pulled up behind the train track at the alley. Jamir wasn't here yet it was just us so we waited in the car.

"I'm so scared" Jada said
"Calm down" I said
"Okay okay.. what do I gotta do again?" Jada asked
"You switch sides. Once Jamir turns his back you and Jay run and we will start shooting" I said
"Okay" Jada said
"We can here you on your mic" Aaliyah said
"Loud and clear" Kierra said
"There they go" Kehlani said

We saw Jamir pull up in a black car. He parked on the other side and cut the car off.

"You ready?" I asked
"Yeah" Jada said

We seen Jamir get out the car and went to the back seat and grabbed Jay who was in handcuffs. I seen another female get out the car.

"That's the girl he cheated with " Aaliyah said
"She's pregnant" Kehlani said
"I told you" Aaliyah said
"Okay I'm going" Jada said opening the door

We were in the back of the ally so Jamir couldn't see the car. Jada walked around the corner and we quietly got out the car. We hid behind the ally where could see and hear what was going on.

Jamir and Jada's conversation on speaker :

"Hey " Jada said
"Wassup" Jamir said
"Where's Jay?" Jada asked
"In the car" Jamir said
"Are you coming with us?" The girl asked
"Yes I'm coming" I said

End of speaker

As soon as Jada said that we all came out shooting. We seen people from Jamir's side come out of hiding places shooting. I shot one of his people in the leg making him yell in pain. Kehlani shot somebody in the head. While my back was turn somebody ended up shooting me in my leg and arm making me fall to the ground.

"TREY!" Kehlani yelled
"I'm good bae keep shooting" I said

Everybody kept shooting and I just laid there. My eyes started to get real blurry and I blacked out. All I heard was the sounds of gunshots.

A couple hours later......

I woke up to a bright light shinning in my face. I heard machines beeping and people talking. I looked around the room to see everybody sitting in here with me.

"Dad!" True said once she seen me
"Hey baby girl" I said
"Daddy I thought I lost you" True said
"I'm strong I ain't going nowhere. Where's your mom?" I asked
"She's seeing a doctor she passes out but she's fine. They should be on there way back

I heard the room door open and Kehlani came in along with the doctor.

"Glad to see you awake Trey" The doctor said
"What happened?" I asked
"You were shot and then you passed out. You lost a lot of blood but you are good. " The doctor said
"So I can go home?" I asked
"You can't go home your bones are broken we had to give you sugery. You are going to need to take it easy" He said
"Okay" I said
"But I have so better news to tell y'all" The doctor said smiling
"What is it?" Avianna asked
"The reason Mrs Kehlani passed out was because she was very dehydrated and pregnant. " The doctor said smiling
"What?" I said

Kehlani pregnant? This was not a good time to be pregnant.
