10Years later .....
Kehlani POV I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes. I turned over to see my husband sleeping peacefully beside me. That's right husband. Me and Trey got married 10 years ago a couple months after True was born. It was the second happiest day of my life. I'm now 29 years old. I'm old as hell now. True is now 13 and is bad as hell. She's worse than me when I was younger. She's talking about having boyfriends, going to parties and any and everything else. I understand she's 13 now but she's trying to do to much way to fast. I just want my little girl to be my little girl forever. I'm still working in my hair solon but now I'm more famous than ever. I started doing famous actors and singers hair like Beyoncé, Rihanna and more. More and more people have been wanting to book with me every since I've did the famous Queen B hair. But now I'm working on make my own wigs and lace fronts and I also want to make my place bigger to start a nail Solon. I have bigger and better plans for this hair solon. True is now in school middle school and today's Monday morning so it's quite early. Me and Trey both have busy life's so we gotta start early. Plus we all reunite with the family later. We haven't seen each other since I've had True. Well I see Kierra, Jada, and Seven all the time because I work with them but everybody else I haven't seen since. But before any of that happens I have to wake Trey and True up.
I turned over to my right side and kissed Trey cheek twice and lips once.
"Baby.." I said "Mhmmm" Trey mumbled in his sleep "Baby wake up it's True's first day of 8th grade" I said kissing his lips again "I'm up" Trey mumbled "Okay well you need to get up take a shower while I go make breakfast.. TREY!" I said "Ight I'm up." Trey said jumping up "Did you listen to anything I said ?" I asked "No baby what you say?" Trey asked stretching "You need to get up and take a shower while I go cook breakfast" I said putting my bedroom shoes on "Come join me. We ain't did that in a while" Trey said pulling me onto his lap "That's because every since we've had True we haven't been able to do all the stuff we use to do" I said "True 13 now. She able to handle herself now.. besides.. we can be making another one" Trey said kissing my neck "No we can't. Not right now. Take a shower" I said "Baby come on now. It's been 10 years. I'm 30 years old and you 29 we ain't gone get no older" Trey said "I know baby, but right now just not the right time. We all got something going for our self. You doing good with your barbershop and I'm doing good with my hair solon. " I said "What does that have to do with us having another baby Kehlani? You been using the same excuse since true was born " Trey said "Trey not right now" I said walking out of the room toward the kitchen
I know it's been 10 years since I've had true and I know that Trey wants another baby, but I'm just not ready to take a break from my shop yet. I've got so many great things coming some many things I want to do with my career before I think about having another baby. I wanted another True but just not right now. Before I headed to the kitchen I needed to make sure True was up and in the shower. I walked towards True room and knocked on the door.
