Chapter 4

Avianna  POV
Okahood High school
10:30

I'm Avianna Kehlani's sister if y'all remember me from when I was younger. I'm now 16 in 11th grade. I got a smart ass mouth and don't take shit from nobody. I'm on the same energy u come to me on, you come to me some type of way, ima come to you some type of way and that's just on period. I'm single. Ian really entertaining these niggas they all only want one thing anyways. I done had like 1 boyfriend in the past but other than that I keep my distance. Me, Royalty and Zay grew up together so we all closer than we are to Camilla, Mya and Syx. Of course I'm close to my niece True. I was an A+ Student in school. My mama never had to worry about me getting bad grades. I kept my legs closed and eyes in them books. I was now in my 2nd period English 1. I had Zay in here with me so it was all cool. 1st period I had nobody, I was just chilling on my own.

"This shit boring as fuck" Zay said
"That's because you never do the work" I said rolling my eyes
"Shut up. My grades good as fuck" Zay said
"Yeah, in the past you had C averages" I said
"I still passed didnt i ?" Zay said
"See that's your problem, you need to get your head in the books and stop worrying about these fast ass lil girls" I said strolling through Instagram

Today was the first day so Mr. Whitemore had us reading for 30 mins until class was over. But nobody was reading everybody was either talking or on they phones. He didn't care since it was the first day.

"Ion worry about them. They be worrying about me" Zay said smiling
"You remember when we was little and you had a crush on Royalty?" I asked
"I still do got a crush on her" Zay said
"Ew we family now" I said
"Fuck that's suppose to mean? We ain't related by blood" Zay said
"Uncle Qua would never allow that anyways " I said chuckling

The bell rung letting us know it was time for lunch. I never eat. We had a Chick-fil-A at school now, so lunch was about to be fire.

"Ight ima fuck witcha blood" Zay said
"Bye Zay" I said shaking my head

I walked into the crowded hallways where everybody was heading in different directions. I wasn't about to look for Royalty so I decided to shoot her a text.

I headed towards the Chick-fil-A line and waited. I was minding my business until my annoying ass ex Malik came up to me. Another thing, Malik use to be Zay's home boy but since Malik did stupid shit Zay doesn't fuck with him no more.

"Wassup A" Malik said
"What do you want Malik please don't start with me" I said
"I can't say you look good on yo first day back?" Malik asked

Malik is also a 10th grader. I met Malik when Zay and his home boys were always around. I knew he went to OkaHood High school and thought he was cute. He thought the same and shot his shot. Now it's history. Now I just can't stand his ass.

"I know" I said
"Hey girl" Royalty said walking up

Thank god.

"Thank you so much" I said whispering in Royalty ear
"Why do you keep bothering her? You miss her or something?" Royalty asked
"Nah. I'm honestly just trying to get some head" Malik said smirking
"You ain't shit for real" I said shaking my head
"You dated me" Malik said smirking
"And I regret every minute of it" I said rolling my eyes
"When you tryna fuck, hit me up" Malik said walking away

My dad never met Malik either. I kept Malik a secret from everybody except Zay and Royalty. They older and I knew they would understand why I couldnt tell dad. He was already strict over me. I barley got to wear the outfit I had on today. Mom on the other hand is great. I love her.

"Thank you so much for saving me" I said
"You welcome. What the hell did you see in his ass?" Royalty asked
"Girl I don't know" I said shaking my head
"I'm not even really hungry. So I think ima just get a 8 count and middle fry and some tea" Royalty said
"Well me on the other hand getting a chicken sandwich and nuggets and fries I'm starving" I said
"I'm surprised you not fat" Royalty said
"Thick. I'm thick" I said
"Girl" Royalty said

We walked up to the women that worked there and ordered our food. We then headed to the table we sat last year and ate. Me and Royalty didn't have other Friends, we hung out with each other. We did have associates though.

"Hey y'all " Bella said sitting down

See Bella? We've known her since middle school. She's like a friend but she's not the friend you would want to tell everything to.

"Hey" I said smiling
"Heyy" Royalty said
"Yall, this cute boy I met in my first period is fine as hell" Bella said grabbing one of my fries
"Who?" Royalty asked
"Zay" Bella said
"Zay hood Zay?" I asked
"Yes!" Bella said
"Wouldn't recommend. He's like a brother to us and the only thing he does is fuck and duck" Royalty said
"Well he can sure fuck and duck me" Bella said
"Ew" Royalty and I said together
"Jealous?"Bella said smirking at us
"Of what? I don't want him" I said
"Exactly " Royalty said
"Oh come on Avianna, you haven't dated anybody since you and Malik broke up" Bella said
"And I'm keeping it that way. Niggas ain't shit anyways" I said rolling my eyes
"Bitch, you gotta be like me, walk em like a dog" Royalty said
"And you wonder why you single " I said chuckling
"Ian single, I'm thugging " Royalty said
"You got 10 mins left before 3rd. " Royalty said
"I'll eat it in class when I'm hungry" I said

I felt my phone vibrate seeing that it was from my mom.

"Who you texting?" Royalty asked
"My mama. You knew about going to Kehlani's house?" I asked
"No." I said
"Well my mom just texted me saying we were" I said showing her

"Good. I miss your sister" Royalty said
"I miss her too. She knows about Malik too. " I said
"You told her?" Royalty asked
"Yeah after she begged me " I said chuckling

The bell rung letting me know it was time for 3rd period.

"We can talk about it later" Royalty said
"Okay" I said grabbing my stuff

I headed to my next class which was chrous all the way across the damn school. School was going good as fuck. Stay to myself and hanging with the same crew as last year.
