~ November 24th, the day of the first task.

I was talking with Fleur. We became fast friends after the champion selection. I told her that I was going to be cheering for her because we need to support each other as girls and she was really happy.

"So Fleur, what exactly is the first task?" I heard rumors, I just hope they are fake.

"Dragons" She answered with a quiver in her rich french accent.

"So the rumors are true?" I whispered/asked myself.

"Oui, j'en ai bien peur mon amie./ I'm afraid so, my friend." Since I easily understand French, I told Fleur she could always answer back in French if it was easier for her.

I hugged her. "You'll be fine Fleur. If the cup chose you it's because it knows you can get through those tasks effortlessly." I move my head to look at her and smile. I have a feeling we are being watched, but I shrug it off.

"Merci Hailey, cela fait du bien d'entendre des mots d'encouragement avant cette dangereuse bataille./ Thank you Hailey, it feels great to hear those encouraging words before this perilous battle." She released herself from the hug, walked in the champion's tent to get ready for the first task and waved to me.

I watched, with a heavy heart, Hailey and Fleur hug like they have been best friends for a very long time. I might have lost my shot at having her as my girlfriend, Fleur is way prettier than me. I watched the silver headed girl walk in the tent leaving the most gorgeous girl standing outside alone. I ran to her, things have been a little bit awkward ever since we talked in the kitchen. "Hey, wanna join me? We could watch the competition together." I asked her once I was standing next to her.

She jumped a little at my sudden appearance, but nodded with a smile. "Sure let's go!" She hooked her arm with mine and walked us to the stands. Why are we, girls in general, so complicated?

* Hailey's P.o.V. *

The first champion who had a go at their dragon was Cedric Diggory. His dragon was a Swedish Short-Snout, it was a blue-gray color. It didn't take him long to collect his golden egg. Which was the actual task, the dragons were the guards.

The second champion was Fleur. Her guardian dragon was a Common Welsh Green, the least dangerous dragon. She got her egg pretty quickly. The dragon set her skirt on fire, but she was alright in the end.

The third champion was Viktor Krum. He was against a Chinese Fireball, which was the smallest dragon yet. He managed to get his dragon angry and broke a couple of real dragon eggs. He somehow finished with a faster time than the other two before him.

And finally the last champion was Harry Potter. He had the Hungarian Horntail, which of course had to be the most dangerous and poisonous dragon alive. He accioed his broom and flew out of sight, the dragon flying behind him. After making us wait and almost dying out of stress and anxiety, he came back and took the golden egg.

Harry and Krum tied for first place.

We, Ginny and I, hugged and almost kissed, but stopped realizing what was about to happen. We were both red as tomatoes and went separate ways, not speaking about what just about to happen a moment ago. She walked up to Harry with her brothers and Hermione. While I went to see how Fleur was doing.

"Congrats on fighting that dragon with close to zero scratches." I high-fived her.

She chuckled. "Merci ma chère, mais ce dragon m'a donné une de ces frousses./ Thanks hun, but this dragon gave me one hell of a fright."

"I can't imagine. I wasn't fighting one and I almost died, more than once." I laughed and she shook her head smiling.

"J'ai une question pour toi, Hailey./ I have a question for you, Hailey." She said looking around to make sure no one was listening in on our conversation.

"What is it?" I looked at her confused.

"Quand allez-vous enfin révéler vos sentiments à ... pour elle?/ When are you finally going to tell ... her about your feelings for her?" She asked, taking a short break realizing she didn't know the name of the girl I love.

"Ginny?" I asked her, making sure we were talking about the same girl, she nodded. "How do you know I have feelings for her?" I asked back.

She laughs. "C'était très évident. Vous la regardez toujours lorsqu'elle passe près de nous./ It was quite clear. You always look at her when she passes by us." I blushed and looked away. "Je crois que vous devriez faire les premiers pas bientôt. Au revoir!/ I think you should do your move soon. Au revoir!" She waved, winked and pointed behind me.

Ginny, The golden trio and the twins were making their way where I was standing, might I add still blushing about what Fleur said.

"Hey there little Malfoy, hope you're not blushing because you saw us walking your way." The twins said and winked at the same time.

I shook my head and laughed "Never you guys!" No guys at all actually.

"What about us?" The two male figures of The golden trio asked together.

I was on the ground holding my stomach. "Oh please guys. Stop making me laugh." I tried to stop, but I just couldn't. Those guys are really oblivious.

Without me knowing, the two girls looked at each other and smirked. "What about us then?"

I stopped laughing immediately and looked at them, I guess girls really are smarter than boys. I shook my head "No not quite." I said only looking at Hermione, Ginny was talking with the boys, I couldn't look at Ginny because she really was the cause of it.

I guess she caught on because her eyes became as big as plates. "Oh my Merlin! No way." She said, shaking her head with a smile. "No way!" She screamed happily.

"What?" The others asked, looking at her.

"Nothing." She answered, but took hold of my hand and dragged me away.

"Ginny?" Was all she needed to say for my blush to come back. "That's so cute, you should totally tell her how you feel." She gushed.

"Why?" I whined.

"Because..." She holds her chin thinking of a good reason. "Because if you don't someone else is going to love her and date her and you won't be happy and you deserve to be happy because I assume living at the Malfoy Manor is not always happy and you're a pretty girl you have all the chances she'll say yes and if you don't go, then I'll go and tel--" I cut off her rambling by putting my hand on her mouth.

"One day."
