"I'm sorry, let me get this shit right here straight, he said what?" Kelsey asked.

"He said he was busy and unlocked the car door." I said explaining the last part of the story to her and Erin again.

"He's petty and I don't like him." She said shaking her head.

"Nope, I'm with him on this. Lauren you are messed up! That man is a whole lawyer! Your dad was a layer and a judge and you know how that was late nights, early mornings and weekends but he still made time for you." He said.

I sighed and groaned. "How I fix this?" I asked.

"Girl I don't know but his ass is fine so you better figure it out." Erin told me.

I rolled my eyes. Always such a hoe. "Don't you got a man?" I asked.

"Yes, but I needed the day away from him. This ain't about me anyways. This about you hoe! What was your poor ass excuse? Too busy? Your asś is gonna be too busy being alone if you continue down the road you're going on. Keep going left baby, keep on going your ass gonna come across Cat Lane Ave and Single Ville Station and you have arrived to your destination." Erin said.

"I get it Erin damn that's not what I called you over here for how can I fix this?" I asked sitting on my bed.

"Oh bitch we ain't on your side right now. So we not telling you figure it out for yourself!" Erin said.

"Fix it tonight, it's best that way." Kelsey said before leaving out. Her and Ty have a date tonight.

"Erin help me please." I begged.

"Make time for him tonight. Do what you gotta do. If it were me, I'd go where ever he is and show up like Cookie did on Empire. Ass cheeks out and all." He said laughing.

"You know what, Imma just ignore your dum self." I said laughing a little.

"Mmhm. But seriously, get Ya self together. Text the group chat when it's over so Kelsey and I know what's going on." He said.

I nodded. "Okay Erin. I love you."
I said kissing him.

"Love you too. Now gon and get ya man." He said.

I nodded my head. "I'll try" I muttered once he left my room.

I sighed and googled it. How to get on good terms with a man.

The first thing that popped up said: A well cooked steak and a BJ. All men love Bj's it excites them especially when you allow them to undo themselves in your mouth and who doesn't like well cooked well cut steak? I'll pass on that.

Ignore him, he will eventually get over it and you'll go back to your regularly scheduled program. Another said. Nope.

Show up to where he works, apologize and then if he excepts your apology, then, with the door unlocked to add more thrill you screw him in his office. He will more than likely get mad at you again just to experience that again. What kind of shit?

I sighed and tossed my pen down. None of this is gonna work.

"Hey Joy." My mom said coming upstairs.

"Hey mama." I said as she came and stay down.

"What's wrong with you?" She asked scrunching her eyebrows.

"Nothing." I said deciding to focus on my research paper my professor is luckily letting me revise and resend before Sunday at midnight.

"Something's wrong. Is it school?" She asked.
