Chapter Eight

We finally make it to Hagrid's he is by the lake skipping stones. He looks sad so I'm guessing it didn't go well.

"How did it go, Hagrid? The hearing?" Hermione asks, Hagrid sighs before saying

"Well, first off, the committee members took turns... talking about why we were there. And then I got up and did my piece. Said how Buckbeak... was a good hippogriff, always cleaned his feathers. And then Lucius Malfoy got up. He said Buckbeak was a deadly and dangerous creature... who would kill you as soon as look at you."

"And then?"

"And then he asked for the worst, did old Lucius."

"They're not sacking you!" Harry yells letting go of my hand and running up to Hagrid. Hagrid shakes his head says

"No, I'm not sacked. Buckbeak's been sentenced to death!"

We all just stare at each other silently. I grab Harry's hand and nod towards the left. Silently suggesting that we leave Hagrid so he can have some alone time, he nods and we start walking Hermione and Ron following close behind.

We are now in the great hall for dinner time, mum is now off academic leave and Uncle Moony is better enough to keep teaching. Mum shredded all the papers that were left on their desk, not wanting Uncle Moony to read any of them or grade them.

"I see you two have made up," Mum says to me and Harry as we walk in together, I nod smiling I hit Harry's side signaling for him to apologize.

"Oh, Um. Professor Black, I am sorry for. Calling you crazy I didn't mean it at all." Harry speaks up

"Oh, my Merlin! Don't worry Harry it is fine. My whole life I've been called crazy Collin, that's my real last name. Before marriage. And Harry I do not believe that my husband is innocent, I'm on your side just so you know, you can trust me."

Mum says winking at me when she says she believes dad isn't innocent, she is just lying so Harry can trust her more.

"Oh, Mum I don't need to sleep with you tonight. Me and Harry will have a sleepover in his dorm if that is alright?"

"It's alright with me. Just don't knock her up Potter."

Harry smiles awkwardly and nods, I hug harry and walk off to my table and he walks off to his.

"Me and Brina are ready for our sleepover Harry!" I say holding Sabrina up and showing Harry her in her jammies, and spinning around, showing off my nightgown,

"Hush! You are going to get us caught." Harry whisper yells at me as he walks me up the stairs to his dorm. I roll my eyes not caring about what he said.

"Did you see, the necklace Luna made me and Sabrina?" I ask Harry shoving it in his face

"I don't know who Luna is and I was wondering why you were wearing that. Cork around your neck it's trash, Athena."

"Harry!" I yell stopping him in his tracks and stopping me, "Oh, no I didn't realize it was special to you. I'm sorry I just thought it was some weird necklace. Since there special to you, it's special to me. Tell this Luna girl make me one!"

Harry explains I smile and hug him. "Oh, will you wear it?" He nods his head and I squeal and kiss him all over his face.

"Come on. We have to get to the dorm!" I yell picking Sabrina back up and walk to his dorm door. I look back and see Harry as red as can be and he is Holding his checks smiling.
