"So tell me, Cormac, do you see anything of your uncle Tiberius these days?" Professor Slughorn asks Cormac, loads of people around the table eating ice cream.

I'm sitting next to Blaise Zabini, I keep catching him stealing glances at me. And it's mostly because I am a half-blood, and I don't think Slytherin's are too fond of them.

"And what about your uncle, Belby? For those of you who don't know well, Marcus' uncle invented the Wolfsbane Potion. Is he working on anything new?" Slughorn asks the kid next to me, I turn to look at him and see him gulping down his ice cream.

With it going down the napkin he shoved in his shirt, I start to laugh a little covering my face with my hand.

"Don't know. Him and my dad don't get along. 'Prolly cause my dad says potions are rubbish. Says the only potion worth having is a stiff one at the end of the day."

Scooping every last bit of the ice cream down, I can't hold my laugh in anymore and break out laughing. Everyone turns looks at me but I just keep laughing.

I catch Harry and Hermione hiding their laughs.

I turn to look at him still in a fit of laughter. "I'm sorry, but what did the ice cream do, like would you like mine?!" I ask jokingly he thinks I'm serious so he takes my ice cream, causing me to laugh even harder.

"Well... Miss Black, what is it your mother does?"

I try to stop laughing, wiping my eyes. "Um, she's a doctor. She works with children, she was a doctor before she came to teach here. And when it didn't work out she just went back to being a doctor."

"Very exciting," he then turns to Hermione. "And what about you, Ms. Granger, what exactly does your family do in the Muggle world?"

"My parents are dentists. They tend to people's teeth."

He opens his mouth in awe, "fascinating. And is that considered a dangerous profession?"

"No. Although, one boy, Robbie Fenwich, did bite my father once. He needed ten stitches." Everyone just kind of stares, awkward. Soon the door opens, and I turn my head towards it.

Ginny steps in.

"Ah, Ms. Weasley. Come in, come in."

I stare her down as she walks in whispering out. "Look, her eyes. They've been fighting again. Her and Dean."

Blaise turns and looks at me, "are you talking to me?"

"No, myself."

He turns away from me, muttering something about not being sane. I roll my eyes he's acting like he has never talked to himself.

"Sorry, I'm not usually late."

She takes a seat, I just stare at her eyes. I wonder how much she cried before coming in here, not even Cho's eyes were that red when Cedric died.

We continue to eat until it's time to go. I get up from my seat pushing it back in and walking off, as I'm walking towards the door in my thoughts I feel a tap on me. I turn around to see Zabini.

"I wanted to know if you would go to the party with me."

I stare at him in shock, Blaise Zabini is asking me out. I snap back to reality and shake my head, "I'm sorry, no. I'll probably bring a friend with me."

"Would you like to go out anytime?"

I shake my head, "I have a boyfriend." I look towards Harry who is staring at us, I smile and wave at him. He only rolls his eyes at me.

Zabini then rolls his eyes. I apologize again but he walks off from me. I leave continuing to walk out, not waiting for Harry because I know he's staying behind.
