We have been in the forest for a couple of months, today we tried to break the necklace but no one has been able to break it. It's been stressing Harry out and honestly everyone. But now we decide to take turns wearing the necklace.
It's late at night and we're laying around, Ron laying down listening to the radio, and Harry and Hermione off a little further away. I lay on the bed flipping through a book humming a soft tune to distract myself.
I look up when I see the light go off and then back on, It's Ron he's up and he doesn't look the happiest. "Yeah, I'm still here. But you two carry on. Don't let me spoil the fun."
Harry gets off the bench walking up towards him, "what's wrong?" I close my book getting off the bed walking towards Ron.
"Wrong? Nothing's wrong. Not according to you, anyway."
"Look, if you've got something to say, don't be shy. Spit it out."
"All right, I'll spit it out. But don't expect me to be grateful... because there's another damn thing we've gotta find." I frown as I can see Harry getting visibly angry, It's been fight after fight I am so sick of it.
"I thought you knew what you signed up for."
"Yeah. I thought I did too."
Harry distances himself from Ron. "Well, then I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand. What part of this isn't living up to your expectations? Did you think we were gonna be staying in a hotel? Finding a Horcrux every other day? Thought you'd be back by Christmas?"
I step back from them not wanting to get into this. "I just thought, after all this time... I thought you knew what you were doing. I thought Dumbledore told you something worthwhile."
The fight continues to get heated as Harry and Ron keep going back and forth. Hermione tries to take off the necklace from him but Ron pulls away getting in Harry's face yelling about the radio now.
"Want to know why I listen to that radio? To make sure I don't hear Ginny's name, or Fred, or George or Mum!"
"You think I'm not listening? You think I don't know how this feels?!"
Ron snaps yelling out at Harry while he yells it out he hits me in the nose with his arms. "No, you don't know how it feels! Your parents are dead. You have no family."
Harry looks over at me while Hermione is now caring for my bloody nose. Harry sees that I am hurt and finally understood what Ron said. Running over to him and throwing his arms over his, trying to hurt him.
Hermione and I both try to break it up. "Fine, then go!" Harry yells out to Ron after Hermione and I succeed in getting them pulled apart. "Go, then!"
Ron grits his teeth ripping the necklace off while yelling fine. He grabs his things and looks to Hermione, "and you?" She looks between Harry and me making a face in shock. "Fine. I get it. I saw you two the other night."
I look between them being confused about what that meant. "Ron... that's nothing." Ron snarls and leaves out the tent in a huff Hermione follows after him.
I stay with Harry wiping the blood off from my nose, while he pulls me into a hug I comb through his hair humming.
Ron will be back.
------------
Hermione has been on edge since what happened, everyone has we needed to move from our site but Hermione was scared Ron would come back and be lost, so she kept some of our stuff there so he'll be able to find us.
I've been kind of cranky, I can't stand it another second here but I have to be strong for them. For Harry.
Hermione has given me her stash of candy she packed for me, all types of ring-pops and lollipops. It made me feel a little better.
