Chapter Thirteen

"Sorry about the bite," Dad mutters to Ron helping him down the stairs. Harry and I wait for them at the bottom.

"You almost tore my leg off!" Ron yells, what a drama queen I think to myself.

"I was going for the rat. Normally, I have a very sweet disposition as a dog. In fact, more than once, James suggested that I make the change permanent. The tail I could live with. But the fleas, they're murders. And Venus wasn't very fond of the idea."

We get out of the tunnel. And Dad puts Ron down on a rock I let go of Harry's hand and start walking towards dad.

"Did you miss me?" I ask causing dad to turn around, his smile bigger than ever. He nods his head. Before he can speak I run into his arms hugging him tightly.

"I'm so glad you're back. Please don't leave."

"I missed you a lot, Athena. And I promise I won't go anywhere. Tell me about you, how has Hogwarts been." he replies trying to push my hair down as I sob into his clothes.

"Well, I'm in Hufflepuff, just like mum. I do not play quidditch, because I got banned. My only friends are Hermione, Ron, Harry, Luna Lovegood, and Moaning Myrtle. I have a cat named Sabrina. And that's all I can think of." I blabber out, not being able to hide my excitement.

Dad chuckles, "Just like your mother, I swear." He tells me, I laugh.

"So. What's happening with you and Harry?" Dad asks, I stop laughing and stare at him and say.

"Nothing. Merlin don't ask!" Dad laughs even harder. "I remember how me and James, had a bet our kids would get together. He said no I said yes. Look who's gonna win now James!"

We laugh for a while before we hear a voice say, "Leaving me out of the fun. I see how it is." We both turn around and it's mum she's smiling holding something shiny in her hand.

"Last month, when you left in such a hurry. You forgot your ring again. Here it is." Mum tells dad handing a wedding ring over. He puts out his finger, as she laughs and shoves the ring on his ring finger.

Dad pulls mum into a very passionate kiss, she's touching all over him, he's touching all over her. Gross. They soon pull away, mum with the biggest smile on her face, dad smirking while he holds mum.

"I love you, Sirius."

"I love you too, Saturn. And I love you, Athena." Dad says. He pulls both of us into a hug with him and says

"Once this is over. We can live together finally get our family life." Me and mum sob into dad's arms, "My two favorite girls."

Harry soon walks up, causing our hug to end me and mum walk off together. Leaving Harry to talk with dad.

"Why did dad call you Saturn?" I ask mum, she smiles and looks at me saying.

"It's a cute thing he did when we were little. He would call me other planets or stars, he just never grew out of it."

I smile at the thought of my parents' young and in love. Mum loves dad so much and vice versa if someone told mum to sell her right leg or leave dad. She would be ready to sell her leg, there so in love it's unreal.

"I'm gonna go check on Moony, go talk to Hermione and Ron," Mum tells me before I can protest she is already running off to Uncle Moony. I sigh and slowly walk to Hermione and Ron, I speak up and say.

"Hi, friends. Or are we not friends?"

"Oh, Athena. Cut it out, you are our friend." Speaks Hermione running to hug me, Ron nods and puts his hand out asking for a hug. I run and hug him as he apologizes for the mean words he spoke.

"Besties to the end," I say while I hug Ron and Hermione. We hug for a while until we hear a yell and we all turn around. Looking up to the moon I understand what is about to happen.

It's a full moon and poor Uncle Moony looks scared. Dad comes rushing over by him pushing mum away, and telling her to run and go while he tries to calm down Uncle Moony.

"Remus, my old friend! Have you taken your potion tonight? You know the man you truly are, Remus! This heart is where you truly live! This heart here! This flesh is only flesh!" Dad yells out hugging Uncle Moony trying to help him.

Peter the rat. Tries to pick up Moony's wand, but before he can Harry hits him with an Expelliarmus. And boom the wand goes flying.

Mum comes running to us. Huddling us together like were all her children. She probably doesn't want us to watch this. Not wanting us to see our professor in such a state, I try to peak out from mum's arms, she pushes me down and tells me to stay down.

Sadly Peter changes back into a rat. And runs off I can tell mum wants to go after him, but she stays trying to protect us. Moony is now fully transformed, he throws dad off of him coming towards us.

Mum yelps as she's being pulled away from us by the hair, Uncle Moony has her by the hair and is dragging her away. She's screaming in pain and kicking trying to get away.

I feel terrible because we're just standing here letting it happen. Next thing you know Snape appears trying to get us away from the werewolf.

Not caring mum is getting Seriously hurt right now.

Snape is pulling us away from the scene, but we're all still watching it. Mum tries to pull her hair from Uncle Moony's mouth bad idea. Uncle Moony chomps his mouth straight down on Mum's hand.

She lets out the most bloodcurdling scream ever. Screaming the loudest scream I've ever heard. Mum has told me she has gotten bitten before by Uncle Moony, so it's fine. After all, he cannot turn someone, because he wasn't born a werewolf so he doesn't have the gene in him. so I guess there is a positive in this situation.

Before anyone can do anything, a big black dog comes jumping from the bottom of the cliff. It's dad!

He throws Uncle Moony making him unlock his jaw from mum's hand. Mum hurry gets up holding her bloody hand and runs back to us. Pushing all of us behind her and tells us to follow Snape to safety.

Harry being Harry doesn't listen. And grabs my hand dragging me to follow after the werewolf and dog.

We see Moony and dad. Dad is getting really hurt from Moony. I look at Harry, and he thinks quick for once. He grabs a rock and throws it at Moony to get him to back off.

He doesn't and gets mad, starting to walk closer to us. But then a howl is heard, and Moony goes off to follow.

We see dad get out of dog form and start walking down the cliff. Harry drags my hand again to follow him.

We see dad on the edge of the lake lying there.

He looks dead.

We both run to him and turn him around, his chest is all bloody and he looks out of it. All of a sudden we start hearing noises all over, we look up and see a bunch of dementors.

"Oh no," I whisper to myself.

Soon the dementors, are feeding off all of our happiness and we're dying, I cannot take it anymore and pass out the last thing I hear is Harry calling my name

A/N

Yay, some Black family love. This is showing how much Sirius loves Venus and Athena. Poor Venus got her hand torn up, but Sirius came to save his wife. Do you guys think the black family is not the cutest or what.
