I received an invitation from the least person I expected to approach me.

"Pardon? Again.. What are you trying to say?"

"I'll take Kit with me."

"You must've been kidding.."

"I'm sorry, but I'm not."

"What strings are you trying to pull then?"

"I have no other intention except to save Kit from your hell hole."

"You're crossing the line with those words.."

"I apologize if it's too ill-mannered, but.. for Kit.. I'll do it."

"Who are you to intervene a very private matter in the first place?"

"That's the thing.. I'm no one. But even no one can see how cruel this kind of life you're trying to shove on him."

I glared..

"YOU! You're not taking my son-in-law anywhere with our grandson.."

A deafening silence after my own words.. But his gaze remained firm and stoic..

"If you will just let these things happen, you might totally lose both of the--"

I found my voice louder.

"Such a delinquent! Do you know how special Kittinan to us? How we love him?!"

"I know. The same reason why I'm confidently asking for your permission.."

"What the heck are you saying?!"

"I know you care for him that you also wish for his happiness.. and.. all it takes is your approval."

"He's not going with you. He's married to my son. His parents left the responsibility to us.. He's my son now too.. Don't spit such nonsense!"

"Kit wishes this."

My heart made a sudden halt, as pain followed.

Our baby, wants to leave us?

"I tried reaching out to his parents.. I explained the situation though they're not willing to listen.. So I was told to leave the decision to your fami--.."

"Kit.. He wishes.. this? To leave? He wants to leave us? Did we do something wrong? We tried our best.. We're trying our best.."

"Is it so wrong to give our son the best? Is it so wrong that he brought so much happiness in our lives the same reason I won't allow you to do this to my family?"
