"no...it's not it" y/n said for the 10th time that day.
they had been shopping all day for the perfect birthday dress for y/n to wear. but none of the dresses she had tried on seemed right, and Tyler was getting tired of it.
"are you sure y/n? it looks good on you, just pick one!" Tyler suggested getting impatient.
"you don't get it Ty!! it has to be the perfect one, and this one is just not it" y/n replied feeling disappointed.
"well we need to hurry up and find it because we have been shopping for about 5 hours now" Tyler said and got up from his seat.
"okay... i hope we do" y/n said and proceeded to get out of store with Tyler.
y/n and Tyler were both walking to the next store; Tyler noticed y/n looking down and hopeless, so he put an arm over and told her,
"don't worry baby, i promise you we'll find the perfect one, we just gotta look more" he said and gave her a forehead kiss.
"yeah you're right Ty, we'll find it" y/n replied looking more happy.
they walked a bit more until they came across yet another shop full of dresses; sequence, glitter, short, long, puffed sleeves, huge ball gowns, etc... it looked just like the rest of the shops, but something seemed right about it this time.
they both walked into the store and were greeted by a nice looking lady,
"welcome you two!!" the lady said in a cheerful voice.
"thank you" y/n answered and started looking around, while Tyler sat on a chair nearby.
"anything particular you're looking for love?" the lady asked.
"kinda, i'll just take a look around for now" y/n admitted, and did just that.
after a while, y/n gave up and was convinced that the dress wasn't here, and was about to tell Tyler, until a dress caught her attention just in that moment. it's perfect she thought.
y/n told the lady to bring the dress for her into the dressing room. she got excited and put it on immediately and looked at herself in the mirror.
"it's stunning on you dear" the lady complimented.
"i think so too...could you please call my boyfriend over there?" y/n asked.
"sure thing" the lady replied and went out of the dressing room.
in a few seconds Tyler walked in and his eyes fell on y/n and got speechless. he felt butterflies in his stomach, and couldn't believe a person could look so beautiful.
"so...what do you think Ty?" y/n questioned.
"i-it's the one! you look absolutely gorgeous y/n...you are perfect" Tyler answered shyly.
y/n smiled and gave him a kiss,
"i love you Tyler" she said.
"i love you too" he replied.
y/n took off the dress and made her way to pay for it. Tyler admired her and felt a pat on his back;
"you got yourself an amazing one, hold on to her" said the store lady with a smile.
"i will...i really will" replied Tyler in admiration.
