Ray and Norman both stared stiffly at each other, awaiting something to break their silence.
"Are you serious? Cut it out." Ray finally said.
"Ray, you've realized, right?" Norman brought up. "I set a trap for four people. I told Don it was behind my bed, and Gilda was told it was in the second floor bathroom ceiling. At least..."
"That's what I told you and [Name]."
[Name] silently gasped, barely realizing what Norman did and how they messed up.
"But I actually told Don the dining hall, and I told Gilda the library. The rope behind my bed ended up being gone. So what about the other two spots? Should we go over and check them out?"
As Ray sat on the bed beside them and laid down, the door creaked open to reveal [Name] with a serious look on her face. She firmly walked in and sat on the dresser next to the bed. Norman was curious as to what her actions would be since her mood did not seem to the brightest that day. [Name] and Ray both stared at each other.
The next thing you know, Ray and [Name] are both laughing their asses off.
"Aw man," Ray admitted. "And here I thought we were doing so well."
"Yeah," [Name] added. "You're right, Norman. We're the ones who have been spying for Mom."
"So, what gave it away?" Ray asked.
"It was when Sister first came to the House." Norman stated.
"Damn, from that early on?" [Name] mumbled.
"I was disgusted with myself. I instantly suspected you first." Norman pointed to Ray. "And then I started to notice that you two started to get closer, knowing that you guys ever rarely talked, even read together once in a while. I then started to suspect [Name] as being your accomplice."
"My own friends. It was really the worst case scenario. I wish that I had been wrong about it. Because you guys being the traitor would be quite problematic for us. But for the enemy, picking you two was the obvious choice. You both would be able to provide input to our plans which would be perfect for keeping control of the situation. The best ones for the job."
"Can't get anything past you." Ray spoke up.
"How embarrassing," [Name] admitted. "We both walked right into your little trap."
"There's one more thing." Norman cut off their yapping. "You see, I have a feeling this isn't the first time you've done this. If one of us suddenly started giving Mom tips, I doubt she's be so trusting. Just how long have you two been Mom's spy?"
