Just looking out for the day,

"I've always known."

Norman immediately responded with a gasp.

Ray turned away, "I've just always known." He sat down on the edge of the bed with his pockets in his hands. "You know what infantile amnesia is?"

With that question, [Name] put her hand to her mouth, realizing what he was implying.

Emma responded, "Nuh-uh."

[Name] furrowed her eyebrows, as she recalled from a book she read a while ago, "When most people reach a certain age, they don't have any memories from being a baby. That's infantile amnesia."

"Exactly," Ray confirmed. "But in some cases, there are humans who don't forget everything."

"Wait," Emma called out, "You mean..."

"I still have..." Ray paused for a moment, "...memories from inside of the womb."

The three silently gasped at his statement.

"Some of my memories didn't match with what I've been told. That's how I knew. My first memory, is being in a dark liquid. I could hear a lullaby, from somewhere." It could be seen Ray wasn't in the best state while retelling what he's seen. One can assume it must've been horrible seeing that as an infant. [Name] sat next to Ray, sneaking her hand onto his for comfort. Without hesitation he grabbed tightly onto hers, cheeks slowly going red as he tried not to acknowledge it too much.

"Do you remember a lot?" [Name] asked, "Or is it all hazy?"

Ray continued, "All of it's in fragments, but in high detail. Demon's faces, and how there were other babies there. They implanted the trackers, and then we were divided, into batches of five."

"Five..." Norman murmured.

"After that, I went through a tunnel and was here."

Norman asked, "The tunnel being the gate?"

"Yeah."

"Wait," [Name] spoke up, "...so past the gate isn't the outside but-"

"Headquarters." Ray finished her sentence as he stood up, letting go of her hand. "The headquarters and the adjacent five plants. Those are what make up this House." He walked around to directly face the three.

"Then what Krone said was true." Emma stated, "Every last detail."

The ravenette continued, "The gate can't be an escape route. Beyond it, things get rough. There's not just a few guards out there. It's swarming with demons."
