Of another dream?

꧁----꧂

"Well?" Ray commanded.

The four eldest were in the dining room, waiting for Don and Gilda to fess up.

"We were just in Mom's secret room, okay?" Don said with a frustrated look on his face, not daring to look at anyone with his own eyes.

"But how?" Emma asked.

"You see," Gilda spoke up, "Don stole the key and..."

[Name] stood up in front of them, with her hands on the table, "You what?"

"Wait," Norman said, "...did she?"

"I don't think she noticed, and we already put it back. So..."

Ray scoffed at Gilda's explanation, "That was a stupid move!" Don and Gilda flinched. "Did you not even stop to think that the room could've had a camera or an alarm? What would you have done then?" Ray's tone started to get louder, "If Mom or Krone found out you two... no, we'd all be-"

"Tell us what would happen, Ray," Don intrigued, making the boy quiet down.

[Name]'s eyes widened at the fact that Ray had slipped up and said too much.

"Would we all be..."

"Killed?"

Emma gasped.

"When we searched the secret room, we found Little Bunny. You kept us hopeful, said we'd save them!" Don stood up, "But we can't save them, can we? 'Cause they're all..." Don slowly sat back down. "Conny and the others are..." Don exclaimed.

Emma's face showed pure terror as she stood up, "Look, I'm so sorry!" Emma bent over, not looking at them in the eye.

"Then, they're really..." Gilda additionally had a face full of horror, as Emma had just confirmed that their thoughts were true.

"You see, Gilda? They were lying to us after all." Don leaned over to loudly whisper to Emma, who was frozen in shock. "What are you hiding? Tell us the truth!"

"Very well then." [Name] answered as she took a seat. Norman and Ray got closer to break the truth out to them as well.

"Demons? A farm?" Don's face was full of horror as he stared at them with wide eyes.

"You're saying every one of us was raised to be eaten?" Gilda had the same expression as Don.

Don continued, "And you two were spies? No way."

"They did it for us," Norman defended.

"Then, you knew what was going to happen to Conny that day, Ray? And [Name] you made a deal with Mom just to save yourself? And Emma, and Norman? You guys lied so we wouldn't know you were taking us into a world full of demons?" Don seemed as if he were going to throw a fit. But instead, he chuckled. The chuckle started to turn into a horrifying cackle. Everyone stood still, until Don punched Norman in the face, sending him to the floor.

"Seriously?" Don roared.

"Wait, Don! Stop!" Ray stepped forward but ended up getting punched by Don as well.

"Don!" [Name] instinctively yelled, which ended in her being held by her collar against the wall, as Don held up his fist ready to punch her. [Name] was sick of his crap, especially after his implications of her being selfish.

"Do it! I dare you!" [Name] roared. Don held his fist back, ready to make contact with her face. Her face seemed prepared for whatever was going to come. It didn't seem as of she were holding back at all.

His fist trembled as he let the girl down.

"Don." Gilda softly called.

"Are we that much of a burden?" The word rang within [Name]'s ears. "Do you think Gilda and I are so weak and useless that we can't get by without you four protecting us?" [Name] realized she was doing what Mason had once did to her. She had made them feel as if they were irrelevant to the progression of their plan.

"That time you asked us to help you, I thought you were actually relying on us." Extreme guilt started to fill inside of [Name].

"Was that a lie? I know we're not nearly as smart as you guys, but we're family, aren't we?" Don began to sob. "We're siblings, right? I just want you to have a little faith in us."

Those words were the words [Name] had wished to say during her childhood. She wanted someone to have faith in her. She wanted the trust that Mason ever rarely gave her. She trembled as she concluded how she had affected Don and Gilda in terms of usefulness.

"Sorry," Don sighed. "I need to cool off. I'm going outside." The boy began to walk outside.

"Don, wait." Gilda followed Don.

"Did we not have faith?" [Name] whispered, looking at the floor.

Emma grabbed a lantern and everyone began to run after the two.

"Don! Gilda!" Emma called out for them with [Name] following behind her.

"Look, I was way too naive. I was ready for you to resent me. And not at all ready to believe in you."

"Same here," [Name] said. "I never wanted for you guys to feel inferior to us. I'm sorry." The girl looked down apologetically.

Norman walked up next to the two girls, agreeing with their sorrow, "Sorry."

"Uh, well I, I shouldn't have punched you like that. Sorry." Don apologized as well. "Are you okay? You're not are you?"

Norman chuckled, "Oh I'll be alright."

"We realize that it was a bad idea to act on our own." Gilda said.

Don agreed, "Yeah, you guys had every right to get mad."

"Please, forgive us." Don and Gilda both bowed in unison.

[Name] turned around to see Ray with a big red bump on his cheek and chuckled.

"Well, will you?" [Name] referred to Ray.

"Yeah, I forgive them," Ray scratched the side of his head. "If the worst happens, I'll figure out how to deal with it." Don looked at him with a really happy expression.

"I should also apologize. Sorry." Ray bowed.

"Now that you two know the truth, I need to confirm something before we continue." Emma said. "The outside world is full of demons. If we mess up, we die. Will you still come with us?" Don and Gilda both gave each other looks of assurance before facing forward with fists to their chests.

"Of course we will!"

As Emma shook hands with Gilda and Don, [Name] felt something really odd about their current setting. She turned around, facing the back corner of the House, feeling almost startled, as if they were being watched.

"You noticed too?" Ray whispered, facing the same direction as [Name], who nodded. [Name] began to step forward for further inspection, but was stopped by Ray with his hand on her shoulder.

"Leave it. It's not worth it."

[Name] sighed, turning back around to the other kids and disregarding her odd feeling.
