"Not at all," the [h/c] said.

"I've been thinking this entire time," Emma began, "What should I be doing for Norman's sake? And the answer, was to do nothing. Mom told us to give up and free ourselves of the pain we felt. But, I refuse to ever give up. I won't let his death be in vain."

"Will you?"

Ray softly chuckled and set his book down on the table beside him, "It seems like all of us are on the same page then."

"Let's run away. We came to talk about that." [Name] brought up.

"I wanted to talk, too." Ray stood up straight, "The past two months, we couldn't communicate since we were worried Mom would see."

"Yeah," [Name] confirmed, "We didn't want her to know our true intentions. So we had to stay quiet."

"True intentions?" Ray asked.

"Right," Emma spoke up again, "Mom's really cautious. Even though the three of us weren't doing anything, she never stopped watching us. But that's something we could use against her."

[Name] began to explain herself, "If she stays focused on one of us, then we can keep her eyes away from the other kids."

Ray slightly shifted his head to get a better view of the two, "Don and Gilda, huh?"

Emma replied, "Yeah, I left them in charge. Their training the others and making preparations."

Ray asked, "How far along are you?"

[Name] answered, "It's all ready. There's warm clothing, supplies and food. We can leave whenever."

"That's impressive," Ray crossed his arms together, "But how will you escape?"

"Oh, don't worry. We have it all planned. Let's run tomorrow morning, before you get shipped out."

"Hold it," he interrupted while holding a hand out to them, "That's dangerous. Things are a lot different now. The escape should be at night when it's easier to hide."

[Name] was about to speak up before being interrupted again by Ray.

"Just hear me out, you two should sit down."

The two girls distinctively looked at each other and sat down, grabbing a seat. Ray grabbed a seat as well, turning it around so he can lean forward on the backrest.

"Okay then, there are two problems here. First, Mom's watchful eyes. She's always watching us and tends to be holding one of the younger ones during the day. And at night, she puts the babies to sleep in her room. In order to make sure everyone escapes here, we'll have to separate Mom from all the little ones." [Name] and Emma and both nodded in agreement.
