Chapter 30 ; "Reliability"

"We're here." Jaden parked the car and looked over to me.

My shoulders slumped as i lay in the passengers seat. I stared ahead at the teen vogue building just ahead of us. My first one-on-one training was in ten minutes.

"I know." I played with my shirt.

"You gonna go... Or?" He raised his eyebrow at me.

"...Yeah." i muttered. Jaden undid his seatbelt and exited the car, making his way round to open my door. He held out his arm to me, so i nervously took his hand.

"You can do this..." He said to me once i was out of the car.

He shut the door and hugged me.

"Im scared."

"Of what?"

"Everything. What if they dont want me anymore?" I examined his features.

"That's bullshit. You know how much they wanna work with you."

I nodded after him, reassured.

He wrapped his arm around my waist, so i hugged his neck.

"I'll come with you." He slowly pecked my lips and my back instinctively leaned against the car.

"No. I can do this."

"Remember. You're sexy. They like sexy." He smiled.

"Shutup." I chuckled and playfully hit his shoulders.

Jaden's eyes darted away from mine and slowly scanned the scene behind me.

I looked around to see what he had been so drawn to.

People were walking past and staring at us.

"I hate being stared at."

"Why should it matter?"

"I dont know." I shrugged.

"I dont want you to be late, so." He pulled away, releasing the hold on me against the car.

"Bye"

"See you later, sweetheart"

I nodded and leaned up to kiss his cheek before leaving.

Before i entered the building, i looked back to find Jaden watching me walk away, leaning on the car, one leg against the body of the vehicle. He winked at me, making me blush.

I entered the building...

"Nadine this is Jerry Lawman and Kylie and Kendall Jenner." Phil, my interviewer introduced me to a grey headed man, who obviously was an ex model and two young girls around my age. They looked familiar from the few magazines i had read. I knew one thing about them : they were sisters.

"Hi Nadine." They both hugged me and we exchanged kisses.

"They're part of the commissioned training team and they will be helping you on your walk today, okay?"

I nodded at Phil.

"Im gonna pass you over to them and come and check on you later."

I nervously nodded again.
