Droplets of rain patted on my window as my fists clenched onto my grey hoodie so that i was squeezing it furiously. The sound of the rain getting worse became my new lullaby. I shut my eyes...tight. As i tugged onto the fabric, the taste of my salty tears became sickening. Letting go of my hoodie, i pushed my knees through the space between my arms so i was balled up in a foetal position.

The familiar sound of sadness echoed from downstairs. Pushing my duvet away, i slid out of bed, zipping up my hoodie and descended down the stairs into the kitchen where everyone was. All eyes quickly focused on me.

Rachel...

Bobbie...

Nate...

Willow...

Jordyn...

"Morning." Bobbie muttered lowly. "Willow, Jordyn and Rachel came to take you out." she added.

"Im not going out." my words slurred.

"...Why not?" Willow inquired.

"...Im tired" i rubbed my eyes and opened the fridge.

"You're always tired." Jordyn sighed.

"What, am i not allowed to be tired?" I raised my voice.

"Its just that-"

"Just what?"i turned around, staring Bobbie in the face.

"Dont force her." Nate's gentle voice emitted.

Smiling weakly at Nate, i turned back around.

Nate was better... eventually.

His bruises were slowly disappearing and so were the memories.

"You know what, im SICK of this. I cant believe you're letting all this do so much damage to you. You keep saying you're okay but we all know you cry yourself to sleep every night. We all know you keep thinking about Jaden!"

"DONT SAY HIS NAME!" i yelled, finally loosing it. Slamming my glass of orange juice onto the kitchen counter, its contents spilled onto my palms. I marched out.

One month down the line... Jaden was in and out of the courthouse... not that i cared.

The asshole deserved it.

Grabbing my phone from my dresser, i unlocked it. My tears began to blur my vision...

My mind followed and soon... i was there again.

I stood on the balcony of our greek villa. I took in the view of the ocean, its turqoise colour and its beautiful essence.

As the wind ran through my hair and the salty smell hit me, i shut my eyes, holding onto the railings.

The familiar pair of arms gently wrapped around my waist and a body was behind me, clinging onto mine. His nose tickled my shoulder and soon my neck as he whispered in my ear.

"Come to bed, baby." Jaden's lips pecked my shoulder. His crotch gently hovered behind me. His cologne warmed me.

"...This is so beautiful." i continued admiring the scene.

"Mhmmm...it is." His raspy voice said.

"How did we get here?"

"What do you mean?" his skin rubbed against mine.

"...Here... i dont remember coming here."

A low chuckle emmited from his throat.
