Chapter 34; "Solidarity"

"I dont even know what i did!" i yelled over the phone to Mateo.

"She just freaked out on you?" he asked confusedly.

"Yes! She's crazy, man." 

"Dont say that. Alright, ill try and figure this out. Is she there right now?" 

"I dont know. She was on the phone  and suddenly, she was mad at me." i scratched the back of my head in frustration. 

"Well, who was she on the phone with ?" 

"Im asking myself the same question." 

"I'll try and find out whats going on. Ill call you back." Teo sighed. 

"Alright. Thanks, man." hanging up the phone, i rushed back inside the studio. 

"Where is she?!" Anthony had already rushed over to me. 

"um..." i hesistated.

"I dont know." 

"What do you mean?" he looked like he was about to pull out his hair in anger. 

"She walked away from me. I have to go." i made my way to the dressing room we were practically having sex in 20 minutes ago. 

I stared at my reflection on the illuminous mirror wall. 

This is crazy.  Picking up the rest of Nadine's stuff, i walked back outside and into my car.

As i adjusted my seatbelt, my phone rang. 

'Teo Arias' 

"Um, J?" 

"So..." 

"Nate's in hospital." he whispered. 

"WHAT?" I raised my voice, withdrawing my hands sharply away from the ignition. 

"What do you mean Nate's in hospital? What's wrong?" 

"I dont know what to say man..." Teo was stuttering. 

"Say something!" 

"Apparently, he got attacked or something." 

"So why the fuck is Nadine mad at me?" my breath grew hot. 

"Dude, did you really do it?" he sounded scared. 

"Do what!" i exclaimed. Was he even speaking english. 

"Bobbie told me you attacked Nate..."     

Nadine's P.O.V: 

I stared outside the window as the car cruised down the highway.  I played with my seatbelt nervously. Was it really true? 

Bobbie's hand gripped violently on the steering wheel as she sniffled lowly. 

"Bobbie..." i stated.

However, as soon as i uttered the word, more tears streamed down her face. 

"Why would he do this?!" she shook her head as if trying to shake off what... Jaden did. 

"I dont know..." i ran my hand through my hair. 

He can't have done it... 

"What did Nate say..." 

"I asked him who did it... All he could say was Jaden. Thats the only thing he could say, Nadine." Suddenly, the car halted to a stop and i stared outside, realizing that we had gotten to the hospital.

I followed Bobbie into the hospital, past the entrance desk and into the A&E department. 

"erm... Looking for...Nathaniel Jones?" I enquired the woman at the desk while i gripped onto Bobbie's shaking hand.
