"Nadine, this is Jerry Eastwood, my estate agent." Jaden referred to the young man walking towards us. He looked like he was in he's late twenties. Holding out my hand, i shook him firmly.
"Jerry, this is Nadine Clark, my girlfriend."
The words 'MY GIRLFRIEND' sent shivers down my spine.
Jerry nodded and smiled a perfect hollywood smile.
"So how's the work going?" Jaden had one arm round my waist as we walked towards the gate leading into the house, our footwear rubbing against the brown stones on the floor.
Quiet drops of rain fell unexpectedly.
The wide door was already open and it was beautiful... We entered into its safety.
20:38
We pulled up back at home.
"I think they're here."
"They are."
We both got out of the car.
"Have fun okay?" He pulled my chin up slowly and met with my lips.
"Aren't you coming?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Baby, i gotta work. You can go." He smiled.
"Then i'll stay with you."
"Willow brought them over to meet you. Just go. I'll check on you guys later." He nodded, willing me to go.
I pulled the biggest puppy dog face i could manage and he chuckled.
"That's cute. C'm'ere" he kissed me again, this time, more assertive, WAY more passionate.
"Bye." I muttered.
I walked inside the house while he walked round to the back.
I knew he had TWO scripts to read through.
I walked into the kitchen and Bobbie, Sydney, Rachel, Kennedy, Nala, Willow and Jordyn were ALL there.
"There she is!" Jordyn squealed and approached me with a warm hug.
"Sooo ... Did you like it?"
"Like what...?"
Everyone turned their attention to me.
"Jaden's house!" Sydney answered.
"Yeah. It's beautiful"
They all looked at eachother as if to discuss something by facial expression. Someone awkwardly coughed.
"So who wants to order pizza?"
Everyone agreed, breaking the not-awkward-but-mysterious silence.
Weird.
Willow left the kitchen and i made my way to the kitchen island, where the other girls were. They all squealed over what they
had just started discussing.
"How does it make you feel?" Rachel chuckled.
"What?" Bobbie answered.
"That Nala is dating your ex!"
Everyone turned to Nala.
"We're not even dating! We're just friends. Gosh, guys." she tutted.
"So it was just me seeing things when you were eating eachothers faces off?" Kennedy coughed.
Bobbie looked bewildered and i didn't blame her.
"Who's the ex?" i quickly jumped in.
"Damon."
