I shifted my turtle neck cardigan over my jaw. Although, i had covered the scar with a vigorous amount of makeup, i was still conscious about it.

"Are you okay?" Jaden said. I looked out the window of his car. I sat there quietly as he drove.

"Yeah, im good" i answered, not bothering to turn to him.

"You just seem kinda...shifty..."

Silence.

"Listen, there's something i need to talk to you about. I know you dont like hearing it but...i have no option" he sighed.

"what is it?"

"I have to go to new york for a few days...there's a premiere i have to attend."

"when?" i looked at him, leaning on my elbow (a subtle attempt to hide the scar) I must say, he looks very hot driving.

"In about two weeks..." He'll probably hate me in two weeks. The whole money thing was on my mind."So i was thinking...we go to mine and watch a movie."

"Your taking me to your house?"

"Dont worry, noone's at home."

17:04.

"Sweet popcorn as you wanted babe" Jaden held out a bowl of popcorn, which i took happily.

We were in the theatre at his house... I was overwhelmed by how massive it seemed. It was filled with four rows of black seats in different sides of the room. We sat in the middle section, the second row. The center of the middle.

"Thankyou"

He took a seat next to me. We were watching After Earth because i'd never seen it before...and he still remembered that i hadn't. huh.

As the first scene drew up, i chuckled.

"Just remember, i was 13 in this."

"5 years ago" i whispered, reminding myself that i was a year older than him.. Jaden immediately stretched his arm out to me. At he's sharp movement, i flinched.

"Whoa...i was just gonna put my arms rou-" he stopped.

"Sorry." I interrupted before speeding out of the room.

I tried to find my way back to the front door...but to no avail.

Jaden caught up with me in no time. "Seriously. Nadine. What's wrong...you've been weird all day."

I turned around and kept my face down. Seeing the scar now would be awkward.

"Did i do something wrong?" He said in a lower tone.

"No...just...stuff."

"Stuff like..."

I couldnt hold my tears back anymore. They just poured out uncontrollably.

"Nothing. It's okay. I have to go." I made my way to the door, exiting.

"You can't just GO!" he yelled after i was nearly halfway down the driveway. He obviously had nothing to say.

"Yes i can." I whispered and continued on my path, not bothering to look back.

"Nadine!" I heard his footsteps now. His hands clasped around my arm in a strong motion, strong enough to turn me around.

"Just...leave me alone Jaden. This whole thing we have going on...i dont think i care about it. We should have never met. This isn't what i want" i covered my face. LIES. LIES. This is exactly what i wanted. I wanted to be loved.

"Please dont say that" he looked up to the dark sky above us.

"I already did."

"What if i feel the exact opposite? What if i WANT this. What if seeing you is one of the reasons i still smile?"

"See, that's what YOU want. It's ALWAYS all about you. Your ego is TOO big, maybe you need to learn what it's like NOT being rich, not getting everything handed to you on a silver platter. Or what its like to suffer. Welcome to the big world Jaden. Welcome to MY world. " i spat, tears streaming down my face.

He was shocked after that. I walked away.

Instead of going to the place i was forced to call home, i headed to the place that COULD change my whole life.

19:34.

I walked inside the police station and all eyes in the building peered at me. There were 3 people waiting in the plastic chair and one man at the desk talking to an officer. I sat in a chair, anxiously rubbing my hands together.

The man finally left the desk and i quickly stood up, but the lady previously waiting had beat me to it. She gave me a cold stare then headed to the desk. This was killing me.

Hurry up...

My legs began to shake impatiently. The man next to me no longer focused on his newspaper but on my shaking leg and then at my face. I smiled back sweetly but he stared back coldly, like the woman did and turned his attention back to his newspaper.

19:50.

I finally made my way to the desk, the grey looking officer sat there scribbling on his notepad, not even bothering to look up.

"Uhm...what happens when someone knows about a ...potential ...crime" i whispered. And then he looked up, full attention on what i had just said.

"Excuse me?"

"Let's say...i um...knew a group of people who wanted to...do something against the law, something really bad...and i wanted to...report it?"

"Um...Miss...can you please step into the office, down the hall on the left, a colleague and i will be with you shortly."

I did as i was told ...

20:27.

"Are you prepared to do this?" The officers younger and better looking colleague asked me.

"Im sorry, can you explain again?" My head was all over the place. I did it...i told them everything. From how my life went bad, to how i met my 'friends' and how they were forcing me to do something i couldn't possibly do.

"You need to understand how important something like this is. You HAVE to be in on this plan with us in order to catch these friends IN the act. You have to pretend your WITH your friends on this one, okay?"

"Please don't call them friends? ...their nothing to me" i murmured, hardly able to move in my seat. It started to get scary, my palms were sweating. This was my only chance to finally get away from this....life.

"the names..." Officer tibalt (the old guy) stretched out a piece of paper and a pen at me, which i took.

My fingers cuffed around the pen, and their names began to form onto the sheet of paper.

'Christian Lovemore'

'Joey (i dont know his last name)'

'Darla (same)'

'Bee (sa-' i hesistated. Not her. I scribbled off my last sentence and handed the paper back to them.

"This all?"

"...that's all." I took a deep breath.

END.

YES. I WENT THERE. LMFAO. i hope this part was long enough.

Feedback is appreciated.
