Pre-Season flew by with Jeremy and Percy impressing everyone. And they made the final roster. Soon the roster for the Boston Blackhawks was set. Led by Jonathan Getzlaf, the captain, many critics and analysts were already talking about the talent on the team.

The regular season start was one day away now. All the players were excited and anxious. They were ready to get the season going and itching to play hockey again.

The pre-game warmups were under way and Jeremy Sagan was passing a puck back and forth with his new friend in Percival Kane. Percy stickhandled, cradling the small black disk in his blade and then flicked it up in a sudden rapid swoop, so that he was able to lift the puck into the air on the blade of his stick. He tossed it up off the stick blade a few times, expertly tossing it up and catching it and bouncing it in place, barely moving.

Then when he'd had enough, he whacked it over to Jeremy, who kicked up and bouncing it off his skate to his own stick and back again and then back to Percy, who let the puck fall to the ice. The young man went back to stickhandling and cradling the puck, before tapping it to Jeremy, who copied the stickhandling moves.

Jonathan skated over wearing a warm, friendly expression on his face. He skidded up and put an arm around Percy, who looked at him with big blue eyes. "What are you two up to?"

Jeremy stopped fooling around and took his helmet off. "What do you think, Jonny?" He shook his gorgeous dark brown wavy hair locks out and flashed his captain a smile. "Percy and I are warming up. What better warm up than stickhandling a puck with your offensive twin?!"

"No, no, you're right. You're doing good."

"Then what are you doing here, Getzy?" Jeremy asked with a chuckle, as he put his helmet back on and clipped the strap back in place.

"I wanted to introduce the newest Blackhawk."

"Oh. And that is?" Percy questioned with curiosity.

Jonathan's hand was still around the blond forward's shoulder and he guided him around so that he was facing Jeremy's view path, which looked back at the bench behind them. An older man with similar wavy hair to Jeremy's, only darker in color stood with an awkward smile on his face.

"Percy, Jeremy, this is Brampton."

Brampton waved just as awkwardly as his expression. Percy and Jeremy waved back.

"Brampton, this is Jeremy Sagan and Percival Kane. They are both rookies with stellar talent."

"I know. I've heard," Brampton spoke finally, breaking his awkwardness. He looked at Jeremy, who was eyeing him with a keen interest. "I know Segs, there, actually."

Jonathan was shocked. "Really? How?"

"Brandy and I used to play together...and we represented Canada together in the World Juniors. How've you been?" Jeremy answered, skating forward and winking at Brampton, who smiled at him.

"Well, the NHL is a lot tougher than the Juniors, that's for sure. But I've managed."

"And you're still shy and awkward, man. Who knew we'd see each other again?"

"Let alone be on the same team...again!"

"Couldn't get enough of me, eh, Brandy?"

"Who can?" Brampton rolled his eyes playfully and earned a gentle cross-check from the younger man.

Jonathan and Percy shared a look and shrugged in unison. Jeremy chuckled like a little kid and lost his footing. He fell to the ice, still laughing. Brampton shook his head and finally broke out in a small laughter.
