The Playoffs!

One week later, after the Boston Blackhawks took down the Shruingers in five games, much to San Jose's disappointment, Round 2 in the Stanley Cup Playoffs began with the Blackhawks facing off against another team, Seattle.

They lost Game 1 to them, 2-3, but this was a much better game from the Blackhawks! Right off the first shift, Fiyero Milan scored a goal and they went up 1-0! Jeremy and Percy were so happy as they clapped their hands and fist bumped their teammates as they came back by the bench.

There was some nice back and forth action that happened, Nikita winning faceoffs and then the whistle blew to finally end the play.

Someone named Greenway decided to get in Jeremy's face. "Come on and fight me, little baby Hawkling." He shoved Jeremy and he doesn't retaliate. He couldn't. But Crow could (thought it was a good thing that Crow did NOT).

He was called for roughing and the Blackhawks headed to the powerplay. Nikita patted Jeremy on the arm and complimented him for not losing it and going back at him.

Jeremy got a few shots off during the ensuing man advantage, as did his pal, Percy, but still couldn't connect for a goal.

Soucy hit Jeremy in open ice, but he bounced back up and got back into the play as the Settle team began to pour on pressure.

Nikita won some more faceoffs as the period drew under halfway through and then another Seattle player took a penalty.

Hartman hit Jeremy and then Percy as they returned to the powerplay. Once again, they both shake it off and tried to help generate a goal or something. But nothing happened on this one.

Then Greenway slashed Fiyero and Boston headed back to another powerplay. Still nothing on the man advantage.

Seattle was able to take advantage of the lack of goals from them and they managed to score and tied the game up 1-1 from a snapshot.

The clock wound down to the end of the period and both teams headed into the locker rooms stuck at 1-1.

The second period began with nothing until Nikita sent a nice wrister into the back of the net. Jeremy was driving hard to the net, when he saw it ping off the back of the netting. It was in! He spun around and skated over to celebrate with him.

And so the game carried on with more back and forth action. Block shots and giveaways from the Seattle team mostly.

Then the opposing team had a giveaway in their zone again, Percy Kane entered the zone with the puck and drove down to the net with Jeremy. The brunette locked up with one of the Seattle players as the goalie was drawn over to one side, not even sensing or seeing Percy slip in to the side.

He received Jeremy's tipped pass and slapped the black disc into the wide open net. Like WIDE open. Jeremy immediately turned and threw his arms around his friend in celebration. Yay!

3-1 Blackhawks!

More back and forth action with more shots on goal. The Blackhawks were really flying this game. The clock wound down to two minutes.

And then one minute.

Percy got another shot off and scored another goal.

4-1 Blackhawks!

The players on the ice smashed together in celebration once again.

As the buzzer sounded, the players on the ice came together for a little scrum, including Crow. It's Zilchy that gets whistled for interference against a Seattle player, while the Seattle player took an interference call against Fiyero.

The third period, the Blackhawks were feeling energy soaring through them. They've got the lead, Jeremy had three assists, while Percy had two goals. Life was good!

Fiala took a shot at one end of the ice and then Jeremy answered with a shot of his own.

Then a Seattle player tripped Percy up and they headed to the powerplay once again. Percy got off about three more shots on goal, but the stupid Seattle goalie stood tall and stopped ALL of them. Percy frustratingly threw his stick at the ice.

Jeremy patted him and gave him some words of encouragement and then he skated off to the bench.

Nikita gave the puck away a few times as Seattle almost got to generate something. But it was stifled by Scooby and Jeremy and Percy were back on the ice for another shift. And drawing another call on the opposing team to send them back to the powerplay as Hunt slashed Percy.

As time ticked down in the man advantage for them, they were in the zone, keeping play alive and passing, trying to find the weak spot.

Zady took a nice slap shot from the blue line, which was tipped in by Percy Kane. (Way to make up for the giveaways, eh?! And to finish off the hatty!)

They smashed together for celebration. They couldn't believe it as they skated to the bench for fist bumps and Percy looked up at the Tron to see the review and his goal. A beauty that is for sure.

4-1 Blackhawks!

The hats came raining down as the players headed to the bench for fist bumps. Jeremy was excited for his linemate Percy.

There was still lots of game play left though! They had to get through the remaining thirteen minutes! But they were feeling super excited and pumped! There was no way that they could mess this up.

They traded hits and pressure once again, including a Seattle player laying a hit on Percy. Again. Then they took the zone and they were scrambling and they watched as Nesty (big doofus!) cross checks Greenway stupidly.

It was okay though, because they had all the momentum on their side and they were able to easily and quickly kill it off.

And then he did it again! He cross checked Fiala this time. But thankfully their powerplay was annulled by Fiala, as he took a high-sticking penalty against one of the Blackhawks. Jeremy and Percy hopped over the boards with Nikita.

Nikita won another faceoff and he took a wrist shot on Stalock, Seattle's goalie. Then Zady took one too. Jeremy bounced off Hartman, who gave Percy a shove. Percy doesn't even realize it or who he's even bumped into, because we're just buzzing. So full of adrenaline.

"Don't start something you don't want to, Hawkling!" a Seattle player snarled as Percy peeled away from him.

Brampton saw it and shot Hartman a death glare. (Like, don't mess with my son, you asshole!)

With under three minutes left, Fiala recovered a lost faceoff draw to score for Seattle.

5-2.

It was okay the Blackhawks were still winning!

Play carried on, the clock winding down to the final minute of play. Boston leaned back and allowed Seattle to really push back. But Jeremy and Percy and the Blackhawks were not worried. There was only like 20 seconds left. Like they could score three times in that time to take the lead.

Once again though, Fiala recovered a lost faceoff and drilled a slapshot into the back of the net.

5-3 with ten seconds left.

They couldn't come back...Jeremy and Percy were both leaning forward on the bench now.

Nikita won the faceoff against the Seattle player. Seattle would up for a final shot from Hunt, which was snared by Scooby and that was the game!

The Boston Blackhawks take Game 2!

And eventually they also take Game 3, 4 and 5 and moved on to Round 3 (the Eastern Conference Final)!!
