Jeremy Sagan walked by the mirror in the Blackhawks' locker room. He fluffed out his hair with his fingers, as he stared into a mirror. He struck different poses, admiring himself. "You get all the female fans, don't ya?" Jeremy purred, as he shook his head to the side and then smiled largely at his reflection, who grinned back.
Behind him, Brampton raised an eyebrow. He folded his arms across his chest. "Seggy, really?" He sighed, rolling his eyes. "You look at yourself in the mirror more than Marchy and Kaner do!"
"I do not."
"You know it and you do."
"I do not."
"You love yourself, Seggy!" Brampton pressed, chuckling. "You can't walk by a mirror without taking a look. You love yourself more than anyone I've ever met!"
"But----" Jeremy started to bicker, "Yeah, I guess you're right!"
"I know I'm right. I'm always right!" Brampton began to laugh at his own words, thinking himself funny and clever.
Jeremy frowned into the mirror, making his reflection frown as well.
"Oh great, is Segs looking at himself in the mirror again?" a voice moaned from behind them, as Reilly O'Reilly walked up to the duo. "Segs, you really got to give the mirror a break."
"Exactly. That's what I've been trying to say!" Brampton cleverly remarked, striking a pose with his hands on his hips. He'd begun to get a lot braver and more comfortable with chirping his teammates, including his linemate Jeremy.
"Shut up, Brandy!"
"What?! The poor mirror can't stand to look at your person for more than four times in a day."
"Hey! Reils...."
"I'm actually enjoying this, continue Brandy."
"Literally every time you come in here and walk by that mirror or any mirror in general, you have to stop and take a peek."
"Reils..." Tyler continued to complain, looking hopefully at the older player for some help.
"I mean what would your girlfriend say?"
"Alright, Brandy I think you've had enough fun----"
"Just one last thing. Jeremy............you're perfect the way you are and you don't need to have a mirror image to tell you that; seriously you can leave the mirror alone and it won't hurt your real image at all!"
"Really?" Jeremy questioned, starting to beam with glee.
"Of course, buddy. Though it may harm your ego, affecting your puck play a little bit..." Brampton broke into another fit of laughter. Jeremy bit his lip, shaking his head. He had to laugh with his friend though. It was true.
"Oh, Brandy!"
Brampton and Jeremy embraced one another.
Reilly rolled his eyes. "I don't want to know what you two do in your room on the road."
"Reilly, don't ruin the moment."
Reilly turned and walked away, as Brampton and Jeremy followed him, chatting endlessly about their friendship to an annoyed Reilly.
"Go away you two!"
"You can't get rid of Brandy and Seggy that easily!" Brampton retorted, slapping Reilly on the back.
"Yeah, Reils, you're stuck with us!" Jeremy added, putting his arm around Reilly.
"Ugh! I can't tell whether the pair of you are more annoying than Kaner and Marchy or the merry prankster in Crow!?" Reilly sighed, huffing in defeat. "Love this team!"
