Dallas' Point of View:

I felt her slowly pull out of my embrace as I reached up to wipe the tears that were racing down her cheeks. You better not be thinking of leaving me, I thought, as my heart was practically beating out of my chest with anticipation of how she was responding to the bomb I dropped on her.

"Dallas.. A-are you sure you're ready for all this? You were thrown into this neck deep and are you sure you will want this in a year from now?" Paisley chokes out with apprehension written all over her face.

"I don't know what's going to happen in a year or so, so it's hard for me to answer that. But what I do know is that if it is even close to what's going on now I will be more than happy with it. " I answered with hope filling me that she was going to accept my offer and stay with me.

Paisley sighed taking her fingers through her hair. "I guess we can, but you promise me that if at anytime you want an out from this you tell me as quickly as possible because as time continues Hayden is just going to get closer and closer to you."

At that moment Hayden stumbled in with some truck in his hand. I bent down picking him up a smile growing on my face as I asked," what do you have there bud?"

"A truck!" Hayden exclaimed excitedly as he ran the truck over my shoulders and back again.

"That's nice! Maybe you can show me your others later, right now I have to help mommy. " I suggested kissing his forehead before setting the little tike down on the kitchen floor. Turning to go put more groceries away, I caught Paisley staring at me and I just smiled at her before continuing with the groceries.

Paisley's Point of View:

It was already after dinner and I was sat down watching the news seeing a snow storm was coming. Great.

I glanced down at the boys sprawled across the floor with trucks splayed on the floor in front of them seeing which cars were faster than the other. They made a course , or rather Dallas did while Hayden watched in amazement, for the trucks to run. I smiled shaking my head as Hayden clapped his hands and squealed as the red truck won again.

"Let's put him up to the yellow truck and see if he can win again." Dallas suggested reaching over and grabbing the red as Hayden got the yellow one and they placed them at the start line. Dallas counted down before they both released them watching for the results. As expected the red truck won again and Hayden threw himself at Dallas who encased my baby in his lap.

"Daddy! Winner!" Hayden exclaimed jumping up and down in Dallas' lap before a look of pain crossed his face. That's not good. I quickly got up and set Hayden to the side out of his lap. Once I did, Dallas fell back on to his back in pain groaning.

"Are you okay? Do you want some ice?" I asked cautiously as I was freaking out inside I didn't know what to do for... It.

"I'm okay." Dallas groaned out just laying there cupping his..uh..thingy. Hayden crawled over climbing on to his chest placing his tiny hands on Dallas' cheek.

"Daddy hurt." Hayden said and bent down kissing Dallas on the cheek.

"I'm okay buddy." Dallas promised and wrapped his arms around Hayden's small body kissing him back on the cheek.

"I'm so sorry Dallas about all that." I apologized helping him stand up with Hayden.

"Hey don't apologize about it, it's fine he didn't mean it, it was an accident. " Dallas brushed off. I smiled at him and nodded my head. "But what would make me feel better is if you gave me a kiss, that would make me feel a thousand times better." He said cheekily as I blushed and shook my head.

I stood up on my tip toes and pecked his cheek really quickly doing the same to Hayden. "My boys." I said with a sigh of pure happiness.

"I'm going to go give Hayden a bath so he can go to sleep some time soon." I told Dallas as I pulled Hayden from his arms and carried him up the steps to the bathroom.

"No! I want Daddy!" Hayden exclaimed which I will admit hurt my heart a bit.

"Daddy has stuff to do, sweetie. You will see him after a quick bath." I promised and as the word 'bath' slipped from my mouth Hayden started to struggle even more.

I entered Hell, or rather known as the bathroom, and shut the door behind me. I turned the water to luke-warm as I undressed Hayden while he was throwing a temper tantrum.

"Hayden, calm down sweetheart. It's only a bath." I tried to soothe him as I placed him into the water and added bubbles to keep him entertained. Tears continued to stream down his face as I washed his hair and body and rinsed him.

"All done!" I exclaimed in happiness as I pulled him out and wrapped him in a warm towel. I carried him back into the guest bedroom as I pulled a pair of pajamas out for him. Dressing him was a lot easier than bathing. Finally finished, I set him on the floor with a sigh.

"Daddy!" He exclaims as he scurries out of the room in search of his daddy.

"Wait, Hayden, daddy may be busy at the moment." I yell after him as I see him run into Dallas' room where I heard a door open and run in after him.

What I see jumps my heart into my throat.

Dallas had a shocked expression on his face as he bends down with just a towel around his waist obviously just getting out of the shower since he was still soaked pick up Hayden with one arm.

"I'm so sorry Dallas." I gushed rushing over to take him from Dallas so he could get dressed even though I know a huge part of me would love to stare at him for days on end.

"Oh it's fine, just a little surprised is all. " Dallas smiles down at me and I feel as if my brain stops all together as I watch a water droplet run down his chest and abs and disappear under the towel. I shake my head looking up into his eyes blushing.

"How about you guys go get in bed and I'll be right out once I get dressed in pajamas." Dallas suggests with a smirk on his face since I know he saw me looking.

"Alright, I still need a shower so can you watch Hayden after your done getting dressed so I can hurry up and shower." I tell him as I take a seat on the bed with Hayden as Dallas disappears in the closet.

"Of course I can." Dallas answers behind a closed door.

Once he is out and dressed in navy blue pajama pants and a white t shirt, Dallas takes my spot on the bed with Hayden as I stand up to go take a shower.

"You can just take a shower here since its closer." Dallas offers.

"Thank you." I smile over at him as I walk into his bathroom shutting to door behind me. I quickly undress and step under the warm mist trying to take a fast shower. Finally finished, I step out and realise I don't have any pjs. Shit. I wrap a towel around me tightly and walk over to the door.

"Dallas?" I call through the door.

"Yeah?" I hear as I also hear the bed shuffle and footsteps.

"No don't come in! I forgot clothes to change into, can you grab me some please?" I ask him nervously to do.

"Oh yeah, hold on one sec."

Next thing I know the door opens and a tanned hand sneaks in with clothes. I quickly snatch them from his hands and shut the door. I dress in the gray t shirt which I realized was his and a pair of his
boxers to use as shorts. Stepping outing the bathroom I climbed into bed on the other side getting comfortable under the covers as a child tv show played on the tv screen on the wall.

Dallas turned the tv off and got comfortable as Hayden laid his head tiredly on his chest grilling his t shirt in his little fists. I smiled as I took it in as Dallas' eyes were already closed. Reaching over I grabbed my phone from the bed side table and quickly took a picture of them setting it as my lock screen. I cuddled up on the other side of Hayden ask I felt Dallas' hand reach over and interlaced my fingers with his.
