Angst/fluff ~Bakugou x reader~ 2 part 2

You sat in one of the benches, looking at the many people who were at the park. There were kids playing in the playground, couples taking a walk around the park, just the way you and Bakugou used to.

You closed your eyes now, unable to bear the thoughts and memories that were brought back. You ran a hand over your arm, opening your eyes to look at the bruises which had mostly faded unlike the memories that haunted you every second of your life.

You got up from the bench, about to go back home when you heard someone call your name. You stopped in your tracks, slowly turning around to see the last person that you wanted to see right now.

"K-Katsuki?" you whispered, unable to believe your eyes. He was standing in front of you in his hero costume but that didn't make sense. Didn't he join the league?"How?"

"I couldn't," he whispered, taking a step towards you but you flinched. His eyes widened, tears appearing in his eyes as he realised what he had done."(Y/N)..."

"W-what do you want from me?" you asked, slowly taking a step back."Haven't you already done enough?"

"Babe, please listen to me," he said and you could tell he was trying his best not to scare you.

"I'm not your girlfriend anymore," you yelled, finally letting the tears slip."I will never date a villain and the fact that you thought I would come to you is just pathetic!"

"I left the league!" he yelled as well, putting his hands in the air."I couldn't leave you. I tried but I couldn't. Don't you get it? I love you, (Y/N). I love you so damn much and the thought of leaving you is enough to completely break me!"

Your eyes widened, his words echoing in your mind as your steps stopped. He stopped as well, looking at you with tears in his eyes, none of you caring about the people who were watching.

"Please....."he cried."Don't leave me."

His voice cracked as he looked at you with open arms as he waited for an answer, a response. His whole face stained with tears as he gritted his teeth in hopes of stopping more tears and that was the breaking point. You let out a small cry, running into his arms and hugging him tightly.

He let out a small sigh, hugging you back with the same strength before gently kissing your hair. Your head was buried in his chest, listening to his heartbeat as you felt in peace.

After staying like that for a couple of seconds, you finally pulled away, his arms circling you as he refused to let go of the embrace. You looked up into his eyes, as he used his hands to cup your face.

"I'm so sorry," he whispered, planting a kiss on your forehead.

"I hate you," you cried, shaking your head in fondness.

"Why did you run into my arms then?" he asked, his usual smirk back on his face.

"Cause you were crying like a little baby," you replied in a teasing tone.

"I'm not a baby, you're a baby!" he said, blinking a couple of times, making sure all his tears were gone.

"Right, I'm your baby," you whispered, a smirk forming on your face.

"Well then, let me take my baby back home," he said and without warning, he picked you up.

"Katsukiiiiiii," you whined before wrapping your hands around his neck."I swear if you drop me-"

"That should be the least of your worries right now," he said, laughing as you closed your eyes.
