You drunkenly walked away from the party, steps uneven and slow as you tried to get to your and your boyfriend's apartment to collect your stuff. It was pitch black and usually you would take caution while walking alone but tonight you were drunk and heartbroken.
You and your boyfriend had gone to a party where you found out he was cheating on you. Your friends had tried comforting you but you reassured them that you were okay and drowned your sorrow by drinking.
You heard footsteps behind you, turning around to see who it was. Your vision was mostly blurred but you could make out the shape of two people.
"Where's a pretty girl like you heading?" One of them said, walking forward to grip your wrist.
"Let go of me," you said, too drunk to try and fight him off.
"We're not here to hurt you...just have a little bit of fun~" the other one said, snickering.
"I have to go home," you said, still struggling a bit.
You knew that these boys were nothing but trouble but you couldn't find the energy to fight them off.
All of a sudden you heard a sound from above you and you looked up. The two boys were still focused on you and didn't realise the sudden appearance of another person who knocked both of them out in a fraction of seconds.
You then turned to look at your saviour and saw a blond man with red feathers.
"Are you okay?" he asked, slowly walking towards you.
"Are you an angel?" you whispered, leaning a bit forward.
The man chuckled."I'm far from an angel, dear," he said before noticing your confusion and realising that you are drunk."I'm Hawks!"
You squint your eyes a bit to get a better look at him."Are those feathers?"
"Mhm"
You sluggishly move towards him for some reason only to lose your balance and bump right into him. Hawks took hold of your shoulders, helping you stand upright as he looked around to see if you had someone waiting for you.
"Do you have your phone with you?"
"I-I threw it at my boyfriend and it broke," you said, burying your head in his chest as he still held you by your shoulder." A piece even went in his arm."
Hawks chuckled."What did the poor man do?"
"He's not an innocent man," you said in a voice that was supposed to come out as angry."He cheated on me. That asshole!"
Hawks hands loosened on your shoulder as he slowly took you in for a hug. He wrapped his soft feathers around you, blocking the cold wind from coming.
"Where do you live?" he asked softly.
"I dunnoooo," you said, pouting."Used to live with an asshole and now, dunno where!"
You heard Hawks sigh as he slowly pulled away from you. You frowned from the loss of warmth but before you thought he was gonna leave, he picked you up, wrapping his arms around you, protectively.
"Hold on tight," he said as he took flight, the cool night's wind making you shiver."No jacket, huh?"
"Nope, no jacket," you giggled, looking up at him."Are you kidnapping me?"
"I can see why you would think that but no. I'm taking you to my home for the night,"
"So, you're not kidnapping me?" you asked again.
"Do you want me to?" he asked, looking down at you with a smile.
"It wouldn't be too bad," you said, burying your head in his chest and closing your eyes."I would actually be happy to live with you. You seem like a nice guy plus your pretty fine lookin."
Damn it! Filter less mouth
"I see,"
You looked at him from the corner of your eye and saw a smirk on his face. You blushed, closing your eyes once more just as you two arrived at his place.
He fumbled with his keys a bit before finally walking inside as he still held onto you. He went to his bathroom, placing you back down before holding your hand to steady your movement.
"You should shower. It will make you feel better," he said." You can wear some of my clothes after you're done."
His voice was so calm and soothing and you hardly listened to what he was saying. He had a small smile playing on his face the whole time he was talking, the sight making you melt.
"I'll be outside if you need anything," he said.
"Can't you just stay here with me?" you asked before looking away in embarrassment.
Damn it. You and your drunk ass
Hawks simply chuckled, giving you an amused look before walking out of the bathroom, closing the door behind him.
You sighed loudly, rubbing your eyes before stripping out of your clothes. You hopped into the shower, the warm water hitting your body, causing a calming sensation.
You finished your shower, wrapping yourself in a towel before walking out into his bedroom. He had laid you one of his hoodies and his sweatpants so you quickly got into those.
Once you were done changing, you walked out of his bedroom, head feeling slightly heavy. He was in the kitchen, making something but turned around when he heard you approach.
His eyes fell on the clothes you were wearing, a smirk forming on his face from the sight.
"Is that a drink?" you asked, pointing at the cup in his hand."I could really use another shot."
"It's green tea," he said, placing the cup in your hand."No more drinks for you."
"You're not the boss of me!"
"Think again, sweetheart," he said, walking past you to the living room.
You rolled your eyes, sluggishly walking to the living room as well, placing the cup on the coffee table before plopping yourself on one of the couches, closing your eyes as you leaned back.
"Haaaawks," you called out, hitting your hand on the couch.
"Hm?"
He looked over at you with a questioning expression.
"I wanna sleeeeep," you whined.
Hawks chuckled, getting up from his spot before helping you up. He supported you, placing a hand around your waist as you two walked over to his bedroom. He helped you into bed, placing a blanket over you.
"I'll sleep on the couch outside," he said."Good night!"
"Good night," you whispered back, watching him walk out of the room, closing the door behind him.
