Angst ~Shoto and Dabi x injured reader~

"Do you have to be this way?" you asked your boyfriend who was leaning against the kitchen counter, refusing to look at you.

"What did I do?" I'm not talking to you because you're just gonna find another reason to fight with me!"

"I'm the one fighting with you?" you scoffed, looking away from him."You're just like your father."

"Better take that back, you bitch!" he snapped, taking a step towards you.

You knew that what you had said was unreasonable and you shouldn't have said it but he was really starting to piss you off now.

"What if I don't? After all, it's true."

"You're gonna regret this!"

You turned to look at him, realising what you said was too much. You took a step back in pure fright, his eyes burning with rage. Before you could say anything, fire erupted from him, surrounding you in his flames.

You closed your eyes in shock and pain, unable to believe what he was doing. You screamed, the pain getting unbearable as you felt every inch of your body hurt.

You continued to scream but it was like he couldn't even hear you.

"Toya!"

You heard a familiar voice shout your boyfriend's name but you couldn't process anything else at the moment as you lost consciousness.

Shoto ran towards his brother, resulting in him deactivating his quirk. He then turned to your unconscious body, trying his best to use his ice on your burns.

"What the hell did you think you were doing?!" Shoto shouted at his brother.

Dabi looked at his brother, not moving as he stared at your body. It was red all over, burn marks already visible.

Shoto used his hand to check your pulse and wasn't able to read it at first but after a moment realised you were still breathing but it was hardly anything.

"Call the fucking ambulance, Toya!" Shoto shouted, using his right side to try and help you the best he could.

Dabi searched for his phone, frantically calling 911 before turning to sit next to you.

"Is she alive?" he asked, his voice a whisper, mostly still shocked at what he had done.

"Do you think I would be just sitting here if she wasn't?" Shoto snapped, looking at his brother before turning to look at you again."Please....stay with me, (Y/N), please."

The faint sirens of the ambulance could be heard from outside the window. Dabi reached down to pick you up to take you out of the apartment but Shoto shoved him aside, picking you up.

Dabi didn't try arguing, not wanting to make the situation worse than it already was as he rushed out of the apartment after Shoto.

Shoto handed you to one of the nurses, hands trembling as his eyes scanned you.

"Will she be okay?" Both the boys spoke at the same time, the nurse placing you on the stretcher.

"It's hard to tell," the nurse informed them."I see severe burns on her and I would say....it would be a miracle if she survives."

Both the brothers exchanged looks of worry before hopping into the back seat of the ambulance along with you, both praying for you to be okay.
