Fluff ~Denki x caring reader

*BANG*

Your eyes snapped open as you sat up in a panic, looking around the room. It was raining heavily outside, the thunder audible as you slowly got up from the bed. You slowly walked out of the room, taking small steps as you looked for your boyfriend.

"Denki?" you called out, walking into the apartment's kitchen."Baby, where are you?"

*Crash!*

"Denki!"

You ran to the living room only to find broken glass everywhere. The window was open, the sound of thunder more prominent than before. There, next to the window, you saw him, electricity leaving his body.

It was like he had no control over it as he glanced over at you with panicked eyes. You looked around the room, frantically searching for something to control the electricity before you ran back to the bedroom.

It took you just a few seconds in order to find the lightning rod as you took it in your hands and ran back to the living room. You immediately rushed to his side as he tried to move you away, afraid that he might hurt you.

You ignored his protest, bending down next to him and using the rod to control all the electricity. He zapped you a couple of times in the process but you were finally able to control the electricity.

You let go of the lightning rod, taking hold of your boyfriend's face.

"It's okay." you said, pressing your lips firmly against his." Everything is fine now." you spoke against his lips.

"(Y/N)...?" he whispered, energy mostly drained.

You leaned back, looking at him with love before slowly getting up. You gave him a hand and as he got up, stumbling around, you pulled him closer to yourself, leading him back to the room.

You helped him into bed, sitting on the bed as you placed his head on your lap. He looked up at you with sleepy eyes as you gently started stroking his hair.

"Denki?" you whispered softly." What happened?"

"I don't know." he said in a tired voice as he tried cuddling closer to you.

But you knew better. It was probably the thunderstorm that made him lose control of his electricity. This wasn't the first time he had lost control and you feared what would happen if you weren't there at the time. In that moment you decided that you were gonna move in with him, once and for all

You used the blanket to cover him, leaning down and kissing his forehead. His soft snores soon filled the room as you slowly tried getting up. He shifted in his sleep, immediately missing your presence but he didn't do more than that. You smiled, looking at him once more before slowly walking out to the living room.

The window was still open, the sound of thunder terrifying at this point. You first started by closing the window and then proceeded to pick the broken glass. You tried being as careful as possible, trying not to get cut by it but she still managed to get some minor cuts.

Once you were done cleaning the living room, making sure there wasn't anymore broken glass, you turned around to walk back into the room before you noticed something. It was some sort of a small picture frame, on the ground, right where you had found Denki.

You bent down, picking it up and tears welled up in your eyes as soon as she saw it. You stared at the picture in your hand, smiling as tears streamed down your face.

It was a picture of you and the thought of Denki using it as a source of comfort during his tough time, made your heart melt.

You got up once more, wiping the tears as you walked back to the room, placing the picture on the nightstand. You slowly got back to bed, trying your best not to wake Denki, who was cuddling a pillow.

You smiled, slowly taking the pillow and replacing it with your arms. He snuggled into you, mumbling something in a sleepy voice.

"I love you, baby." you whispered, closing your eyes.

"I love you too, buzzy beautiful sunshine." you heard him whisper back as you two finally went back to sleep.
