Fluff ~Shoji x neko reader~

You hid behind the bins in one of the many alleyways, spying on the league. You weren't in your human form since it was easier to fit in places and make little noise as you waited for your partners to arrive.

You moved your tail a bit, the basket falling over as you cursed in your mind. Shigaraki looked over, getting closer, he had seen you. You tried acting like a stray cat, purring as you hoped for him to go away.

"Come on, (Y/N). You think I wouldn't recognise a pro like you?"

You slowly backed away, trying to jump over Shigaraki which was a success but then Dabi caught you, slamming you into the ground. You whimpered, transforming back as you wrapped your tail, protectively around your body.

"Now, what should I do with you?" Shigaraki asked, walking towards you as you hissed, your long nails outstretched.

"There's no escaping," Dabi said, casually leaning against the wall, blocking your way.

You looked around, seeing Toga and Dabi blocking the exit while Shigaraki closed up on you. You could try jumping over them but Dabi could easily use his flames to stop you. You had injured your arms as well so that was a disadvantage.

"Well, here goes nothing," you muttered to yourself.

You pounced on Shigaraki but he was ready, gripping you by your neck, four of his fingers choking you.

"All I need is one more finger.....like this,"

His hand reached for one of your cat ears and you cried out, feeling the burn as he used his quirk.

"Let her go!"

Shigaraki turned his head to the side to see your partner, standing in the alleyway, having knocked out both Toga and Dabi.

"I said let her go!"

He ran forward, ready to attack but Shigaraki let go of you, dodging the attack and getting away.

"Shoji...." you whispered, dropping to the ground but he caught you, picking you up in his arms.

"I told you not to go!" he said angrily but you could see the relief in his eyes as he knew you were safe now." Let's get you out of here."

You wrapped your arms around his neck, his mask covering half his face but you could tell that he was smiling as he looked down at you.

"I'm sorry," you whispered, nuzzling his neck as you purred softly." I worried you, didn't I?"

"Yes you did," he said before sighing." But I'm glad you're okay."

"Me too,"

You guys got to the busy streets where an ambulance was waiting for you. Shoji laid you down on the stretcher but you took his hand, refusing to let go.

"Stay with me....please," you said, eyes filled with unshed tears.

Shoji gave you a smile, taking your hand in his." I wasn't planning on leaving."
