The next morning, I found myself wrapped in Emily's blankets. But no sign of Emily. I reached for my phone, patting the nightstand. When I felt the rectangle, I brought it closer to my eyes. Trying to adjust to the light.

3:12. At first it didn't process. Then it did.

I shot up. Feeling just a tad bit light headed. I stayed still, recollecting myself. I pushed out from under the bedding. I place my feet on the cold floor. Shuddering at the feeling.

I made my way to Emily's closet. Taking a sweatshirt and sliding it on. Then found my way to the downstairs. The entire team at the table. Boxes of pizza all over the table.

"Ah, good morning love!" Emily called from the chair she usually sat in. "Come! Join us!" So I did. Just now realizing there were no open seats.

With a fogged mind, I sat on Emily's lap. Her placing a soft kiss to my temple.

"How'd you sleep?" JJ asked. Which I just shrugged in response. There was no way of knowing if Em had told them about last night.

"It was ok, I guess." I quietly answered. "Aren't you all supposed to be at work?"

"Did you forget that it's Saturday?" Penelope stifled a laugh. I guess I had forgotten. But it didn't make sense. We landed on Saturday. It would make today Sunday.

I looked around for any proof that it was Sunday, and found none. Everything had pointed to it being Saturday. Glancing at everyone else, they started to not look like everyone else. Their faces all wearing sinister smiles.

Emily's grip around me tightened. Securing me with no exit. And the more I squirmed, the tighter she held. "Em, you're holding me a bit tight." I told her. I used all my strength to try and push her arms off. Yet, it wasn't working.

"But baby! Why would you try to run from the inevitable?" She whispered against my neck. Sending shivers down my spine. She held up a knife. Trailing it down my jaw and to where my heart was. Slowly adding more pressure. The tip piercing through the fabrics and skin.

"Emily, stop that hurts." I cried out. It only made her put more pressure. I let out a groan of pain, which turned into a scream quickly.

I shoot up from my position. The dark room surrounding me. I struggled to catch my breath. Beads of sweat all across my forehead. I was going to roll out of the bed, until a hand stopped me.

"What are you doing up? It's still dark out," the groggy voice of Em asked.

"I just need fresh air," I whispered. "Go back to sleep."

I climbed out of bed. Heading into the kitchen, I dialed Reid's number. Not really expecting him to answer.

"Nova? Are you alright?" He answered his phone.

"I was wondering if I could come over? The dreams are happening again, but they're worse now." I almost inaudibly spoke.

"Yeah, I'll start the tea." He hung up. I thankfully sighed. Grabbing the keys and headed out the door. Making sure I didn't make as much noise.

I left without putting on shoes or a sweatshirt. Arriving to Reid's apartment in no time. It was a good thing we lived in the same complex  building.

He let me in and I found my way to his couch. Plopping down into my normal spot.

"So they started again?" He questioned from his kitchen.

"It's the second time tonight I've woken up." I swallowed hard. Spencer walked in with two cups of tea. Handing me one. "Thank you."

"So it can happen multiple times in one night?" He tried to understand.

"I guess so. And they're all always Emily hurting me. Last time it was always Aidan. I got used to it being him, as he was an ex and no longer in my life. Then when they really got to me, I came straight to you. Hoping you would have some crazy fact to cheer me up. Only to find out you have the same problems. And when nights happened, we could rely on each other. But now, I get tensed by Em's touches." I ranted, feeling my cheeks turn to a red.

"How long since they started?" He started a small questionnaire.

"Tonight. The first one was being shot, and the second one...Everyone was there. She pressed a knife deeper and deeper to my heart till I woke up." I recapped.

"So I take it, you've barely slept? Seeing as it's 3 in the morning." He pointed to the table clock.

"Oh my! Did I wake you?! I never even considered you being asleep. I'm so sorry Spence!" I was quick to apologize. Feeling terrible for invading at such a time.

"Don't even worry about it, I'm glad to help you. Now, go grab a book, and I'll read to you through the entire night. Making sure you have no nightmares." He offered.

And so I did. I grab the random novel off the shelf that was mainly for me. Full of romance and fantasy. Handing over Pride and Prejudice.

He sat with his legs going across the couch. I rested my head against his chest. Listening to his steady heartbeat. Along with the vibrations from his reading. And without any wasted time. I had drifted off. Not having any bad dreams for the rest of the night.
