I fiddle with my thumbs. Sitting in Hotch's office. He didn't say anything. There was a knock on the door. Hotch gave them a 'come in'. I never looked up to see who it was. But the stare I could feel in my neck was one that I originally got from the entire team when I did something risky. Hotch stands and walks behind me."Mars."
"Yes Hotch?"
"Care to explain?"
"No."
"Well then why don't you go explain to Strauss what just happened?"
"Ok. Easier said than done but I can do it." I cheekily responded. I was about to get up, until Derek pushed me right back down.
"Explain," he coldly whispered.
"What did you achieve?" Hotch raised an eyebrow. "Seeing as none of us know what the two of you discussed."
"Well for starters, SSA Hotchner, I got his list of accomplices." I smile tilting my head. Revealing the hickey he gave me. I could hear Penny and JJ's small gasps. "Yes there was a small price but, I got what nobody else could. A confession."
"Everyone out." He sighed. They all file out of the office. Leaving me and the 6'2 man alone. "What were you thinking?"
"I wasn't. I went in with a desire. I wanted answers on why I was his target. Yes it was uncomfortable on how I got the answers, but nonetheless still got them." I stringed together my thoughts from twenty minutes ago.
"You cut the camera feed. Along with locking the door. ALONG WITH not being loud enough for anyone to hear. You have no way to prove his confession!" He snarled.
"I don't?" I shook my head, pulling up my phone that was still recording. "I may look like I just did the most sexual interrogation ever, but I'm not stupid."
"I-," he stumbled on his words.
"Now SSA Hotchner, I'm going to send you this, then go home with my friend. Have a good night," I scrunch my nose.
It was clear I just left him in complete shock. He'll have to tell Strauss anyways. His voice did shake the whole floor.
I walk over to my desk that had a pile of files building up. I pick up my small bag, getting ready to find Em so we could leave. That was until a strong arm pulled my arm. Leading me out. I looked back to the rest of the team who stood by the walkway in front of Hotch's office. All looking as confused as I did. I glance at who was pulling me. Her long black hair flowing in my face. We stop in the elevator.
She turns to face the team. But not to face me. I angle my head to see her expression. The amount of fear that rushed over me seeing her furious expression. She never got this mad. I drop my head, not wanting to be caught staring.
Longest elevator ride ever. Along with the longest car ride ever.
Once we arrived at the apartment, that's when I could feel the argument start.
"What we're you thinking?" She started. Here we go.
"I-I wasn't," I stuttered.
"Exactly. You weren't thinking. Do you know how dangerous that was?! What if he got out of his handcuffs and hurt you?! Nobody could get in!" She yelled.
"E-Em I'm sorry," I tried.
"Don't Em me! You literally just went in there and seduced you stalker!" She continued. "He tried to kill you! Twice! We don't even know who the others are! You went in with no backup plan! God! I can't believe you would be that stupid!"
