As we drove in the large SUV, we talked and caught up from the past 4 years. Cos had fallen asleep in the back, which I expected to happen. That's how it was until we made it back to Rossi's. The so familiar smell of pasta roaming the night air.

We both got out, me placing the sleeping child on my hip. Walking up the paved path, I felt myself getting more nervous. I have know these people for a decent part of my life, but I feel like I'm just meeting them.

Hotch knocked seeing as my hands were full. Penelope being the one to answer instead of Rossi. I handed Cosmos to Hotch before hugging the daylights out of the blonde. Happy tears running down my cheeks.

"You're really here! And who is this?!" She laughed. She took a step back to fully see me as I took back my kid.

"This is my son, Cosmos. He's 4 and hasn't met his aunts and uncles." I beamed. It was like on cue, the tiny child stirred. Putting her in aw. "When he wakes up you can meet him, he's a napper just like his momma."

She nodded happily and led us in. I tucked the boy in on the couch and left to join the rest. Knowing he wouldn't be awake for at least another hour.

Penelope and Hotch had already gone out, leaving me to make my own grand entrance. From what I know, is that Em was just visiting after she helped on a case. There was a new member named Tara. She sounded like an absolute badass from the way Hotch described her to me on the way here.

I took 5 deep breaths before walking out. Putting a halt to the conversation. Everyone just looking at me. "So I walk out and you all act like I'm a ghost? No hugs? No 'Oh my! Nova we love and missed you so much!'?  None of that?" I cracked. Putting cheeky smiles on everyone's face.

Soon I was being bombarded with hugs and kisses. Listening to them all spew mushy gushy stuff at me. After I greeted Tara, I tilted my head at Emily. Who, oddly enough, was just sitting there gawking at me.

I walked over towards her, kneeling in front of her. "Hi." I whispered, tears pricking the corner of my eyes.

"H-Hey," she responded. Sounding as if she really didn't believe I was here. She placed a hand on my cheek.

"I missed you, like a lot." I leaned into her touch. Letting the soft tears roll down my face.

"Mommy!" Cosmos yelled from in the house. I laughed at the confusion that took over Emily's face.

Before I could get up to get him, he came running out. Jumping around. "Well someone had a good nap!" I lit up at the sight of him. "Was it a good dream?"

"Mm-hmm! There was candy and dinosaurs in tutus! You were there as well! You had a wagon full of toys!" He summed up his dream. He glanced at Emily, rapidly blinking at her. "Are you mommy's girlfriend?"

A deep crimson color settled on both Emily and my onw cheeks. I couldn't help but chuckle at the simple question. I turned to her, waiting for her answer. She sat there, stunned by the kid.

"Why don't I introduce you to your other aunts and uncles? I know your aunt Penelope has been dying to meet you." I saved Emily from answering. Giving her a simple wink as she let out a breath.

Cos nodded with excitement, jumping into my arms. Balancing him on my hip, I walked towards the group of other adults. Letting them all get to know the boy. I left him with them as he seemed so engaged in the people.

I plopped down next to Emily, my head falling onto her shoulder.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She randomly asked.

"I didn't know until the night I left. I took the test while I was in the bathroom, and when you walked in, I panicked. So I hid them, hoping you wouldn't find them." I truthfully answered. "When did you find them?"

"The night you left. I went into your bathroom and was looking for soap. Opened the drawer, and they were right there." She frowned. I couldn't see it, but I just hear it in her words.

"I didn't know if you wanted to raise a kid together, especially when it's not yours. You never spoke about wanting kids as much." I started to pick at my cuticles.

"It wouldn't matter if the child wasn't mine. There would be no way for the child to be mine. But I would love nothing more than to raise a child with you." She placed a kiss on my hairline. Butterflies flew in my stomach.

"Even after 4 years, you still make my heart flutter." I smiled up at her.

"Even after 4 years, I still love you." She faintly returned my smile.  She trapped my lips in a long overdue kiss. It lasted for a moment, but not for long. "So! When do I get to meet him?"

"Cosmos! Come here!" I waved the small boy over. He excitedly ran over, taking a seat on my lap. "This is your other mother."

"Like the one from the Halloween movie?" He furrowed his brows.

"No, not like in the Halloween movie. I'm your mommy, but she's your mom. You just have 2, instead of 1!" I simplified. He still seemed lost, but didn't care.

"So, you're mommy, and she's mom?" He repeated what I had said. I gave him a nod, confirming he was right. And after a second of debating, he flung himself at Em. Engulfing her in a tight hug.

It had melted my heart. The sight being something I would never have guessed. But it was calming.

When he let go, he started letting little facts about himself and me fall out his mouth. Showing his real connection to Reid. I knew Hotch noticed it, but nobody else did. Thinking it was just a kid thing.

And the rest of the night was me caching up with everyone and talking about the things I did for the years.
