My mother cheated on Dad and even had the audacity to leave us. Hindi ako halos makapaniwala na ang pinakamamahal kong ina ay makakagawa ng ganoong kasalanan.

Hinayaan kong bumuhos ang ulan sa'kin, inaasahang ang aking mga luha ay hindi mapapansin, kasabay nang pagbagsak ng mga mumunting ulan ay siya ring pagragasa ng luha ko.

"Bakit ka nagpapaulan?" sabi ng babaeng may mahinhing boses. Agad ko naman iyong nilingon, meroon siyang ngiti na tila nagbibigay liwanag sa lahat.

I just wiped out my tears then plastered a weak smile. Ibinaling niya sa'kin ang kaniyang payong kapagkuwa'y hinila ako patayo.

"Tara na, baka magkasakit ka pa."

Confused, I just shrugged then followed what she said. But then suddenly, she threw her umbrella away then look at me, having a foolish smile.

"Hoy ba't mo hinagis? Edi mababasa ka rin?" She didn't even utter a thing, tumakbo lang siya sa tahimik na pasilyo ng kalsada habang nilalasap ang pagpatak ng mga ulan.

Nakatayo lamang ako habang pinapagmasdan siyang nagtatampisaw na sa ulan. I just heaved a deep sigh then shifted my gazed when I noticed na bumabakat na ang kaniyang bra sa kulay puti niyang T-shirt.

Tila naestatwa ako sa'king kinatatayuan nang maramdaman ang tubig na bumuhos sa'kin. Kasabay noon ay ang malakas na pagtawa nitong babae.

"Gagi, tatayo ka lang ba diyan?!" sigaw nito, nakalahad pa ang dalawang kamay tapos nagpaikot-ikot sa kinatatayuan.

I just pointed out to her what I noticed earlier, still looking to nothingness.

"Ay pokshet! sorry, sige tara na doon sa waiting shed!" She then ran out because of embarrassment.

A slight smile suddenly formed in my lips. Damn, girl.

She handed out her hand to me as she uttered, "Elise."

Nagshake-hands kami, kapwa may mga ngiti sa aming labi. "Vince."

From that day, we became friends to best of friends, and bestfriends to lover.

Despite of the trust issues I had because of what my mom did, I still managed to risked. Because I love her, I really do.

Pagtatampisaw sa ulan ang hilig naming gawin. Kakain din ng streetfoods, take selfies, and do things what typical couples do.

Naniniwala kaming dahil sa Ulan, we met, unexpectedly.

"I love you, sana huwag ka nang umiyak gaya nung una tayong nagkita. Ang panget mo e." She grinned at me then giggled afterwards.

Marahan ko namang hinawi ang kaniyang buhok papunta sa likod ng kaniyang tenga. "I love you too, more than ever."

"I won't leave you, nor do what your mother did to you. Promise 'yan."

She shed a tear then put a peck of kiss on my lips. I slowly closed my eyes as I kissed back.

As the days passed, turned into weeks, months and years. Our relationship went well, filled with love, but then of course just like other relationships, we had downs too.

We got busy doing our own things and achieving our goals before we live in the same roof. Medyo nagtatampo siya nung huli naming usap kaya't balak ko siyang surpresahin ngayon.

It's our 3rd anniversary and I texted her already na dating gawi. Since we became together, lagi kaming nagccelebrate doon sa lugar kung saan kami nagkakilala.

Holding a bouquet of her favorite flowers and chocolates. Mas inagapan kong pumunta doon sa lugar kesa sa nakatalagang oras na sinabi ko.

And I didn't expected what I saw. It's Elise along with another guy, she looks frustrated and the guy is just smirking like a fool.

Susugod na sana ako ngunit napako ako sa kinatatayuan nang biglang sumunggab ng halik 'yung lalaki kay Elise. I want to punch that man, but before I could do so, I saw her, kissing him back, passionately as ever.

"I'm a father now! I love you Elise!"

Elise chuckled and reached out for his cheecks, "I love you too but we have a problem."

"Ah si V---"

"Mga gago kayo! Tangina mo kang lalaki ka!" Parehas silang nagulat sa presensya ko.

I pulled Elise's hand and made her closer to mine. "Lakas ng loob mong pumunta dito?! This is our special place tapos putangina, gago ka!" I was about to punch him but then Elise stopped the hell out of me.

I gave her a sharp look while tears of mine keeps on rushing down my cheeks. "How could you? "

She wiped her tears, "I'm sorry..."

Napalinga-linga nalang ako sabay bigay ng mga regalong dala ko para sa kaniya.
"Happy putangina day," I sarcastically said then walked my way out.

Just like the old days, the rain poured hard. Siguro ramdam lagi ng mundo ang mga kalungkutan at paghihirap ko sa buhay.

Tumingala ako sa langit sabay ngumiti.
"Lagi na lang ikaw ang karamay ko."

Nagpaikot-ikot ako sa kinatatayuan, nilalasap ang ulan habang patuloy na namang rumaragasa ang luha.

Why do people cheat? mga gago.

Amidst my sorrowful day, I heard a large vehicle towards me. Patuloy itong bumusina ngunit bigo sila sa pag-aakalang aalis ako sa gitna ng kalsada.

Then a trashcan got my attention, I just smiled bitterly when I realized it was the gifts I've given to her, while ago.

Everything went blurry, numb, the only thing I'm feeling is the pain she had given. I shed a tear one last time, staring at the dimmy sky, then everything went black.
