No Emotion (ASL X Reader)

   The past 3 days was clear and plain; no signs of Nightmare anywhere. The time travellers were split into two groups. The first one, consisting of Sanji, Nami and Koala, were stationed near the bandit's hut, looking after (y/n) in case Nightmare would take her hostage. The second group, Luffy, Sabo, Zoro and Law, would follow the ASL Trio all day, waiting for Nightmare's attack.

   Sanji is currently resting under a root of a giant tree (more like past out from nosebleed) while the two female time travelers are keeping watch for (y/n). Nami had an annoyed look on her face while Koala looks a bit awkward.

   "Uh, Nami-san, is Black Leg-san always like that? " Koala points towards the pass out cook.

   "Ugh, you have no idea. "The orange-haired girl said, remembering the cook's flirting and sudden nosebleed after what kind of 'very innocent' imagination he had.

   The brunette laughs nervously and shifts her eyes towards the little girl in front of the bandit hut. She is being scold by Dadan for getting out of bed.

   "You know, when Sabo-kun finally regains his memories, he said he'll find Luffy-kun and protect him no matter what. "Koala informs the orange-hair navigator, who in turn, stares at her in curiosity, wondering where the conversation is going.

   "He looked so confident that he can do it. Then, suddenly he looked scared and unsure. He kept fidgeting with his hands, a habit he usually does when he's nervous. At first, I thought he was nervous to meet Luffy-kun after so many years. But when i told him that it's gonna turn out well with Luffy-kun, he just shook his head. He said he already know things will turn out well with Luffy-kun."

   "Then why was he so nervous? "Nami inquire. Koala turns her head to stare at the little girl below, a small smile gracing her face.

   "It's (y/n)-san that he's worried about. He said that the last he'd seen of her was when she was still living with the trio. He is sure that (y/n)-san is out there in the ocean, seeking adventure as a pirate. After all, it was her dream. But what worried him is that he hasn't even seen a wanted poster that is similar to her. He has been searching for her the most compare to Luffy-kun since he already knows that he'll be fine. He even searched the marine database just to be sure! And yet, there's no trace of her. "The brunette explains. Nami let's out a small smile.

   "Then he must've been glad to see her, even if it is her past self, as much as he is glad to see Ace. "She mutters softly to the other girl before her face turns into confusion.

   "Though, i want to know what Luffy means when he said,  '(y/n) left'."

   "Any signs of him?" Nami asks the newly arrived group and in return, she got a shake of the head from Sabo. Both groups let out sighs. It is dark in the forest of Mount Colubo with most of its residents sleeping and a few nocturnal ones hunting. The ASL trio had long since went home for dinner and the bandits' hut is eerily silent.

   "It seems like he just vanished out of thin air." The moss-headed swordsman mutters loud enough for everyone to hear. He just recieves silence as his answer.

   Suddenly, the calm silence was interrupted by an ear shattering scream from the hut. All seven pirates stands abruptly and went to the source of the scream. They stop outside a small window where the scream came from hearing small voices. By now, the screaming has stop and is replaced by sobs.

   Luffy stretches his neck to see inside the hut, only to find 4 small children huddled together in comfort. The female of the four is shaking, clutching the shirt off a freckled boy, whose arms wrap tightly around her figure while the other two boys stood near, calming the sobbing girl. The rubber captain smiles fondly at the scene, remembering it like it was just yesterday. He stretches his neck back to it's original length and give the group a false alarm. Everybody sighs in relief and went back to their camp in the forest, intend on resting for the rest of the night.
