Here is a pic of Zorander's house ^^
Kai's POV
"I need to change out of this costume so I'll tell you my address, human," Zorander says, staring at me through the rearview mirror from the backseat.
"My name is Kai," I respond and he snorts at that.
When I started at Agma High, the principal wasn't at work that day so I never got to meet him. I've always heard that the principal is a harsh, no nonsense guy and that people shrink under his gaze and I can now see why. The air around him seems to always cast a cold, bitter feeling, one that makes you want to cower in fear. Knowing he's a demon, that definitely makes sense!
Though he gives off a bit of a terrifying vibe, I'm not scared because I don't think Raziel would let me get hurt and the vibe Raziel gives off is warm and comforting which balances out Zorander's frightening vibes.
"So how was I able to shoot you so many times?" I ask, after I've punched his address into the GPS.
"Higher demons have the ability to make copies or duplicates of themselves which is what you were shooting with the paintballs," Zorander replies and I hum a response as I turn on to the highway.
"How did you come up with the date idea Raz?" I inquire. I'm sure Raz didn't come up with this all on his own but did the demon really help him?
"Well I used the demon's dildo for an hour b-"
Raziel stops talking when I gasp in horror and Zorander bursts out laughing, his laugh sending chills down my spine.
"I'm going to kill you, demon!" Raziel bellows and Zorander's laughter subsides to snickers. "I used a large rectangle that opened and had internet. The demon said it was more magic than the magic box." Raziel furrows his eyebrows as he explains.
"Oh a laptop. Magic box?" I inquire, giggling at this ridiculous situation.
"Television," Zorander mutters probably trying to get back into Raziel's good graces since it looks like Raziel is trying to murder him with his intense gaze.
We pile out of the car once we reach Zorander's house which is modern and sleek with a black exterior and a black, rock sculpture to the side. The air that hangs around the house is the same cold, bitter type emitted from Zorander but when we get inside, the place is suffocatingly hot. Noticing my immediate discomfort at the heat, Raziel asks if Zorander could adjust the temperature to which he agrees.
Zorander tells us to wait in his living room while he changes his clothes and wipes off the zombie makeup. I snuggle next to Raziel on Zorander's couch, telling him about the rest of my day while we wait.
"Why did you help Raziel? I thought demons were evil," I say as soon as I spot Zorander entering the room.
He shrugs at my question. "I haven't seen another immortal for over 70 years, it's... interesting." Zorander sits in a one seater across from us. "And demons are more cynical than evil, it comes with the job location."
Zorander snickers before he adds. "And angels aren't sunshine and rainbows either, you could say that angels and demons both have light and darkness in them. Angels' jobs are more conducive to light so they tend to be goody two shoes, at least the ones that work directly with the souls. While demons' jobs are more conducive to darkness. Based on where we are located when we come into being, our body adapts to that environment so that those located in heaven become angels and those located in hell become demons."
After taking a moment to process, I turn towards Raziel and say, "So you clearly didn't work with souls." I hear Zorander's sharp laughter at my comment.
