Puring puri ni Aleah ang luto ni Nay Mabel at Tay Dani.
"Nay, punta kayo sa bahay. Ako naman mag luluto tapos turuan mo rin ako ng mga luto niyo ni Tay Dani." Ani Aleah.
"Eh baka naman may mga trabaho kayo." Banggit ni Nay Mabel.
"Hindi po. Naka leave nga po kami eh." Sabi ni Aleah.
"Kung ganun, sige, kami'y pupunta bukas." Ani Nay Mabel sa sinangayunan ni Tatay.
"Nay, bakit bukas pa?" Aleah pouted which made me smiled. "Ngayon na lang po." She added.
Nay Mabel and Tay Dani have no choice but to agree. I guess like me, they don't have the heart to disagree with Aleah.
We talked about a lot of things when Aleah went very excited when I suggested to go home.
Medyo nag tatampo na'ko dahil kahit hanggang sa kotse ay sila Nanay Mabel lang ang kinakausap niya at pakiramdam ko nakalimutan na niya 'ko.
"Pero marami po akong putaheng niluluto, right, Declan?" Nakangiti siya nang bumaling sa akin.
I smiled and nodded. But I sighed after she went to talk again with the two oldies at the back.
Hanggang makarating sa bahay ni Aleah, sila Nanay Mabel pa rin ang pinagtutuunan nito ng atensyon.
Because of a little bit of jealousy, I went to hug her from the back which made her still.
Pero nang makabawi sa pagkabigla, tinanggal niya ang pagkakahawak sa akin saka ako hinampas.
"Why would you hit me like that?" I was furious because of shock.
"You know PDA?" Mataray niyang tanong.
"Yeah. But it was just Nay Mabel and Tay Dani." I excused.
"Still PDA." Aniya saka inirapan ako.
Buntis ba siya?
I still haven't deflowered her...
Unless...
I shook my head.
No. It's impossible.
"Itong batang ito talaga. Ayos lang naman sa amin tutal malapit na rin naman kayo maging magkasintahan." Ani Nay Mabel habang nakayakap sa beywang ni Aleah.
"See?" I said while my eyebrows arched.
Sumama agad ang tingin ni Aleah sa akin kaya palihim akong natawa nang pumadyak ito papunta sa sala kasama ang dalawang matanda
I shook my head. My baby is such a baby.
"Mag luluto ako." Anunsyo ko habang palakad papunta sa kusina.
"No!" Sigaw ni Aleah na tumatakbo papalapit sa akin.
Napameywang ako sa harap niya. "What is it again, baby?" Pabirong pag tataray ko sa kanya.
"Wag kang mag taray. Di bagay sa'yo." There was an arguing tone in her voice so I just shrugged. "Ako nga kasi ang mag luluto. Ipapatikim ko kay Manay at Taray 'yung luto ko." Dagdag niya.
"Give me a kiss then." I winked
Umismid siya saka ako tinalikuran. "Wag kang magkakamaling gumalaw sa kusina." She commanded while walking away.
A smiled crept on my lips as I saw her smiled forming while talking to the two oldies. How I wish I can see that every second. I won't surely be used to it.
I was staring at the three of them when someone called me.
I saw my mom's name registered.
"Mom?" Bungad ko.
"Declan, when will you visit us? I miss you, baby ko." I smiled when I heard her soft voice.
"I can't for now, Mom." Balita ko. I know she's pouting behind the screen. "But I have good news." I added.
"What is it?" Her energetic voice came back.
"I'm with Aleah. I'm already in the process to make her feel okay." I smiled as I stare at my beloved.
"Oh God. Salamat naman kung ganun. Kumusta ba siya? How is she coping up? I know it's been months. I'm guilty that I haven't done anything to help her." Her voice sounded sad again with the last thing she said.
"Don't worry, Mom. She's healing and slowly accepting everything she learned." I said.
"Okay. That's good. I just realized now, maybe it's time to go back there. I want to meet Aleah personally again. I also missed being home. I miss you." Muli akong napangiti. My mother is such a sweet woman.
"You want to be babied when you get back here, mother?" Malambing kong ani sa kaniya.
"Yes, baby. I want that. Sawa na 'ko sa daddy mo." I laughed when I heard what she said.
Impossible. Earth has to vanish before that happened.
"Declan!" Sigaw ni Aleah at nang mag tama ang tingin namin, napatakip siya ng bibig.
She mouthed. "Sorry."
I just smiled. "Mom, my baby wants some loving. Call you back later." I said.
I bet my mother is rolling her eyes already. "K fine. Do take care and love Aleah. Take care too, baby. Mom loves you." She said.
"Love you too, mom." I said then she ended the call.
Nag lakad ako papalapit sa kanila saka marahan na hinaplos ang beywang ni Aleah.
"Who's that?" Tanong niya.
"That's mom."
Her eyes widen while her hands are on the top of her mouth.
"Did I interrupt your call?" Nag aalla at nahihiyang niyang tanong.
I smiled before kissing her forehead. "Not at all." I assure her.
Napatango na lamang siya.
"I'll cook na." Bigla niyang anunsyo.
I chuckled and nodded. "Okay, baby. The kitchen is yours." Then winked.
She pouted before going to the kitchen.
"Ang cute." Komento ni Nat Mabel.
Napailing na lang ako nang tignan silang dalawa sa kusina.
"Sasagutin ka niyan." Sabi ni Tay Dani na akala mo ay siguradong sigurado.
"Tay, wag paasa." Aniko na lang.
Ngumisi si Tay Dani. "Nak, maniwala ka, sasagutin ka na niyan. Bilisan mo lang kumilos tapos tanong mo na agad. Oo 'yan sa'yo." Aniya sa akin saka sumunod sa dalawang babae na nasa kusina.
Napbuntong hininga na lang ako.
Hindi ko na tuloy alam saan ako lulugar dito. Ni hindi man lang ako niyaya na samahan sila sa kusina.
Nag sosolo silang tatlo.
But this is a good thing. Aleah had met someone other than me after what happened. These people might be good for her.
I can't wish for anything. Just her genuine happiness and safety. Even if I'm not gonna be part of that happiness, it would be okay as long as she's happy.
But I'm no saint and selfless. I do wish that she would find that happiness to me. I still hope.
i still wanna own her. Possessively own her but she won't like it so I will just love her.
Love her and made her queen 'cause that's what she is to me. That's what she deserves.
