"Isa pa?" I asked her while holding the serving spoon. She just nodded so I put more soup on her plate. She's on her third rice already. On her first rice, she picked beefsteak and then the next plate, it's rice with sinigang and now, beefsteak, rice and sinigang were combined.

"You're good in cooking pero mas masarap pa rin akong mag luto." I let out a short laugh because of what she said.

I know that already and I don't have any plan to disagree. She's the boss after all.

"Declan, what do you mean by 'you don't know me but I know you.'? Kilala mo ba talaga ako? How much? I mean, personally? Gaano?" She asked while

I stopped eating and looked at her. "Well, it started when I saw you at your parents' wedding anniversary. You were just six years old and I am Ten. That time, I knew that you will be the woman I want to marry. I was captivated by your beauty. I was a cold and silent kid before." I said and she replied suddenly.

"Kahit ngayon naman ata. You're still cold and silent though medyo lang." She giggled after.

It's great to hear ger giggle.

"So ano next?" She asked, looking so curious.

"Uhm, after that, we didn't meet again until we became neighbors. I spent two years being your neighbor and unfortunately, we need to go to California and live our life there that's why I didn't get the chance to be with you but I never turn my back. I'm always there, looking at you from afar. I know every occasion in your life. I know what kind of gatherings you've attended. I know the person you're always with and that's your parents. You have a few friends. I know your favorites. There are a lot of things I know about you but still, I know you're deeper. There's still a lot of things I don't know. Your parents knew who I am. It's been a year since I moved here for good. I talked to them and told them that I want to marry you but they said that it's their daughter's decision. I'm afraid of rejection that's why I didn't show up until now. I already proved myself to your parents before they bid their farewell. They knew how much I'm willing to render my life and love to you. They even joked around, telling me to make moves already and don't be 'torpe'." I chuckled with what I said to the last. "But I really can't. I don't know what happened to me that I'm really scared when it comes to you." I added.

I saw her stunned with spoon and pork in her hands. "I-i didn't know you're my friend way back my childhood." She stutters, looking so amused.

I chuckled and nodded. "Yes, we're 'friends' before but not so close 'cause I'm not into dealing with people even when I'm still a kid." I said and she definitely agreed with me.

"You look so mysterious nga eh but no worries 'cause you have a good look, very handsome." With that, the rate of my heartbeat tripled.

I held my chest. "You're giving me a heart attack." I utter then she just laughed.

"I'm sorry." She giggled. Argh, ang cute!

We decided to continue eating and after that, we helped each other to clean the kitchen and the dining area.

After that, I received a message from Adriel. It's about my business.

From: Adriel

'You're needed here, bud.'

I looked at Aleah. "Uhm, Aleah, I'll go to the office. I need some work to do. Just call me if you need anything, okay?" I said then get up to prepare.

But I stopped when she called me.

"Is it too important?" She asked.

"It is but you're my first priority so if you don't want me out, then I'll stay here." I smiled. I can give up anything for her. Kaya kong isuko lahat kasi alam kong may matitira sa akin, at siya 'yun. Siya lang ang ititira ko sa sarili ko at masaya na ako do'n.

"Well, thanks but if it's that important, okay, you can go..." I can see she's hesitant. "B-but after that, p-please come home...to me." She looked down when she said the last thing.

I smile crept across my face with my heartbeat racing as fvck.

"Yes, commander." I even salute her which made her chuckle.

"Is it okay to kiss your forehead?" I didn't even stutter. I'm so proud of myself.

I saw how her mouth in 'o' that's why I laughed. "It's okay. I know it's shocking but I'll not pressure you. Anyways, I gotta go." She handed me my coat and I smiled at her.

"I'll be right back." I uttered and turn my back to go to the Edifice. I'm something's up to the people there right. I wonder what.

When I get to my car, I started the engine and called Adriel.

In just two rings, he picked up.

"What's up, bud? Something's going on?" I asked casually.

I heard him sighed. Hmm, it's a problem.

"The Superior sent a file in the system. We need to move now. He said that if we'll do something again with his squadron, we'll not be able to enter the Edifice. Not even a chance." Humigpit ang hawak ko sa manibela.

Fvck that superior! Fvck that Terzetto!

If it isn't because of them, the Terzetto, that superior won't be as powerful as he is now.

"I don't even care if he threatens me. I know he has the power to do that before but why didn't he make a move? He can close the passage so I won't enter but why would he do it just now? He has plans, I know it so stand by, take good care of the hostages, don't let any of the Terzetto got them. Their families are waiting for them. We can't fail them." I said nonchalantly.

"Okay, bud." He said then ended the call.

While driving, I also think of a plan and trying to utilize that fvcking superior's plan.

After a few minutes, my phone rang.

It's Maurice, the manservant.

"Hey." I greeted him.

"Boss, our courier already sent the box to the Edifice." He informed me.

I smirked.

"Good." I said.

"But boss, you will just add fuel to the burning head of the Superior. I'm sure once he sees it, he'll accuse you. No one can do it but you. You'll anger him more." Maurice said but with no worry.

My team is robust and competitive. No one makes their knee folds. It's the other way around.

"No need to tell me that. That's the reason why I made you do it, I want to see him pissed, mad and going nuts. I can't imagine the Superior brushing his hair out of frustration. I can go to hell, laughing at him. Damn, I'm that evil." I chuckled then shook my head.

"Damn Boss, you're really weird for a descendant." I can see him shaking his head.

I chuckled. "Yeah and you're lucky."

"Whatever. We'll ready the squad. I know you have plans already. Just give us an order and we'll stride." He utter.

"I know. Y'all are meant to fight...for a good purpose. I'm a proud boss." I teased him. I know how much he hate being senti that even saying 'proud' can make him shiver.

"Damn. You're my boss but I can punch you, you know. Anyways, I'll end this." He said and ended the call.

I suddenly remember Aleah. She's all alone in the house. I can't help but be worried. I can't be close to her now but hell I can't lose her either. That Superior shouldn't know about my queen's existence. He might use it against me and that will ruin my plan.

I have to sacrifice my time with her so that I can gain a victory in this mission and be with her without any worry and fear.

But with her safety for now, I won't worry 'cause there's a lot of spectators surrounding the house.

Just wait, my Aleah, I'll be with you soon. Without fear and harm. Just you and me. Happy and safe. I love you.
