Desmond's POV
Yesterday before Harry called to meet him, I had a meeting with Debbie. It was inevitable. It didn't go smooth at all. When I told her, I didn't know if I could ever forgive or trust her, she went crazy. She threatened with a divorce where she would sue me for everything I got, and knowing her, she will get her way.
After that I went to Harry yesterday, and spent the evening reading the contract. If I sign this for him, everything is gonna change and I really, I'm gonna be there for him. So, my decision was made and I called Debbie to say that if she wants to play games, she better calls a lawyer because I'm filing for divorce.
After calling Debbie, I called my lawyer and explained the situation. She agreed to take my case and I could immediately go to her to discuss and plan our strategy.
Louis' POV Sunday 20/02/2011
Harry and I have just come home from the studio and step into the shower.
Niall, Liam, Harry and I have been writing non-stop. When we arrived Thursday, Harry finished his recording of his song called 'Sign of the Times'.
The rest of the four days, we wrote a lot of songs. We decided to work on an album while Zayn was with his family and we would explain it like that to the fans too. It was actually Zayn's idea after we had sent him a copy of 'If I Could Fly' on Wednesday.
We miss having Zayn in writing and recording sessions but we also understand that he wants to be there.
When we finished today, we had written 14 songs and one of the producers, Julian wrote three. I wrote 4 songs together with Liam. I like writing with him because then, I can focus on the lyrics while he focusses on the music and the melody. I love writing lyrics. I like using metaphors a lot. Most of the songs I write, I could use a lot of parts from as poems but I like the feeling a song gives you more than the feeling a poem gives you.
Tomorrow, Harry has to go back to school. It will be weird not having him around because the last week, we have spent every day together and we grew really close. I really like him.
Niall, Liam and I are gonna start tomorrow with recording. Harry can record his parts when is finished with school or in the weekend.
Jeff wants to release Harry's two solo songs as soon as possible and thinks that a collab with One Direction would be the best promotion. After Harry's dad signed the contract, we decided we will leak 'Don't let me go' without any context to tease the fans at the end of the upcoming week. When the album eventually drops, they would already know his voice.
After a long hot shower, I step out and go quickly to my room to change. When I ready, I take my phone and go to Harry's room. He doesn't have any social media account and it's time to change that.
Harry's POV Tuesday 22/02/2011
I'm back at school. Every morning, I can ride with Dan or Jay. They alternate on bringing the kids to school. I take a ride with the one who is free of that duty that morning.
It's my second day back and the name calling and yelling from my classmates has already started again. Jay and Dan help me as much as possible by letting me inside the nurse's room or the music room during breaks.
After school, Louis will pick me up to record like he did yesterday. He has a car with tinted windows so nobody sees it's him when he is waiting in front of the school gate.
My last period has finally finished and I go say bye to Jay and Dan before walking towards the gates.
'Going to your boyfriend you fag? I bet he's waiting in that expensive car at you.' Oliver says.
How does he know I'm gay? And Louis isn't my boyfriend even though I would want him to. Louis would never be interested in me. I'm just me. Just because he picks me up from school doesn't mean he likes me. I hold my mouth as shut as possible.
'I'm kidding.' He continues. 'Why would someone even want to be with you. You probably just broke your bones because you are worthless and your family didn't want you anymore so they pushed you down the stairs. Mr. Deakin has told us you fell but everyone knows that nobody wants you.'
I'm bawling my eyes out at this point. How does he know? I walk as fast as I can out the school and open the door to take a seat in Louis' car.
'Hey, what happened?' Louis asks.
'Just the everyday stuff. Truths that I'm tired of hearing.' I say while trying to fasten my seat belt.
'Come here.' He leans in for a hug which I gladly except. In his arms, I feel safe. When he loosens his grip, he says. 'Here, let me help you with your seatbelt.'
Then, he starts the engine and we drive to the studio.
When we arrive, Louis carries me upstairs so I don't have to use my foot after walking in school all day.
Yesterday we have finished recording a song and at the end of the recording session today, we've recoded one full song and a few parts of one other song. It is handy when it is only my parts, and the group parts, we have to record in the evening because Liam, Niall and Louis record their parts while I'm at school.
We are making good progress. Hopefully, all the songs will be recorded in the next few weeks because Louis told me in the car on our way here, they planned to release it in a month already on Monday the 14 of march.
We pack our stuff and Louis pics me up to bring me to the car to go home.
Little that they knew, they weren't alone on the street.
