Louis' POV
Harry and I have just arrived at the studio where the Late, Late show is filmed. Liam, Niall and Zayn will be arriving later but Harry has to go in hair and make-up first. I can tell he's very nervous. It is his first release since he signed with Columbia Records plus it is a like an anthem and he doesn't want to mess it up during the performance.
Zayn, Niall and Liam have arrived about half an hour ago and we are sitting in Harry's dressing room. Harry just left when one of the producers came to get him for the interview part. There is a TV hanging in the dressing room so we can see everything that is happening on stage.
J- 'Give a big round of applause to mister Harry Styles.' James says and Harry walks out from backstage towards James. They hug quick and then, Harry sits down in the couch.
J- 'It's good to see you again. A lot has happened and I'm glad you are doing better. How are you?'
H- 'It's good to see you again too. I'm okay. I'm excited for the release but a lot has indeed happened. I'm just glad I don't have to face it alone.'
J- 'I'm glad for you. You have told us a lot in the video you've released on Monday. Was it a difficult decision to keep going after everything that happened?'
H- 'Yes. Part of me just wanted to give up everything. If you ask anyone who had seen me in the beginning, they would say I gave up on everything already. But my dad was the one who signed the contract with my management so I could follow my dreams. And I want him to be proud of me. The support Louis has given me, his family, Liam, Zayn and Niall and of course my sister. They would be there for me every step I took and I'm very grateful for that.'
J- 'A good support system is everything. You were really open about how you were bullied at school and how your stepmom treated you. Do you still feel effect from it now?'
H- 'I don't think the effects will ever go away fully but it will affect me less and less, I think. I'm still really insecure about myself and everything I do, but I'm proud to be here tonight with my new single.'
J- 'Your first single that you will release through a record label, Sign of the Times will be release right after you've performed it here.'
H- 'Yeah, it is crazy how fast it all went but I'm Columbia Records very grateful. They reached out right after the album release of "Made in the A.M." but told me to take all the time I needed.'
J- 'That's good to hear. When did you start again?'
H- 'They were really patient and the moment I told them I was ready to start again, they let me do it on my tempo in in an averment I felt comfortable in. I wrote most of the songs at home. The first one I wrote was Sign of the Times and I wrote that one before we even started writing for Made in the A.M. I haven't been writing with the thought of making an album. I was writing most of the times to clear my head. I've recorded in Niall's home studio. Most of the times it was only Louis and I. A few times Niall was there too. At the beginning of last week, I talked to my manager and we planned everything.'
J- 'Do you already have a release date and a name for the album?'
H- 'I don't really have a name for the album. It will just be a self-titled one. The release is planned on the 12th of May. Louis and I are planning to stay in London for a while. At least until the release.'
J- 'Sounds like Louis and you have become really close.'
H- 'Yes, from the day him and his family took me in until now, we were together most of the time unless I had to be at school. He has cared for me when I couldn't care for myself. I'm very grateful to have him in my life. He and Liam, Zayn and Niall came also here with me to support me when needed.'
J- 'Sounds you have found a real family in them.'
H- 'I did and I love them with all my heart.'
J- 'That is wonderful, but before we get all emotional here, we will go to break and after, you perform your brand new single "Sign of the Times".'
I really liked that interview. Harry comes into the dressing room and I go over to him.
'I really love you too, with all my heart.' I say before kissing him.
Louise comes in to touch up Harry's make-up. After that, Harry gets brought to the performing stage from the Late, Late show. One of the other producers takes us with him to sit behind the audience so we can see Harry perform in real live.
Harry's POV
I'm standing in front of the microphone. There are a lot of people watching which makes me very nervous but I see Louis standing I the back. He gives me a reassuring smile and mouths "I love you" to me. That's all I need. The next moment the band behind me starts playing and I begin to sing. And while I'm singing, it feels like I can let all the emotions of when I wrote it out. Before I even know, the song is over and the whole audience is standing on their feet while clapping. This feeling is amazing. All of the sudden, I feel two arms embracing me. When I look up, I see it's Louis and that Zayn, Liam and Niall are not far behind.
'Another big round of applause for Harry Styles! Sign of the Times is now available everywhere.'
James tells everyone and then leads us all back stage. This feeling is amazing and I never want it to end.
The recording is finished and we decided to hang around the studio for a little longer and have a little pizza party with James and the other guests.
After we finished the pizza's, everyone went home and I went with Louis to his London apartment.
