Harry's POV

It's 10.00 and Jeff has just arrived for our meeting.

'Hey Harry, how are you holding up?'

'I'm okay, I think. It is just hard. How are you?'

'I understand and I'm good. Let's start, that way, we are probably ready before lunch.'

'Jep, do you want some coffee or thee?'

'Coffee sound good, I still need to wake up a little bit more.'

'Okay, I'll be right back.' I say and I go to the kitchen to make a cup.

'Okay, so for record labels. If you do another single or album together with One Direction, it will be released by Syco records since One Direction is signed by them. There has been an offer by Syco, but I wouldn't recommend signing there.
I think the best deals are from Rough Trade, Columbia Records and Creation. I would personally lean more toward Columbia Records, because they are more international. They offered you a contract where you can release a three solo-albums at least. If you want more, you can. They also told me that they understand that you needed some time off and are willing to wait until you are ready.'

'Sounds like a good deal.'

'I have the contract here if you would want to sign with them. But I know you are new to this so you can talk with Louis and his parents about it, maybe also with the other boys from 1D. Louis said that they were coming here this afternoon. You can let me know tonight or tomorrow.'

'Sounds good. Thank you.'

'Your song 'Sign of the Times'. I personally think that it is an anthem. An anthem that fits perfectly with your situation right now. I would like to release it the moment you are signed to a record label. What do you think?'

'I think it is a good idea but I really wanted a music video with it but I haven't got a clue how to make one.'
'I knew you wanted one and I have a few ideas and I've talked with a friend of mine who is a director about it. If you want, we can start filming on Thursday.'

'Thank you for everything you are doing. You are really helping a lot.'

'It's my job. You don't have to thank me. I like planning stuff like that. But it is almost lunch and I have another meeting right after lunch.'

'Okay. I will read the contract with Louis and I will let you know something tonight or tomorrow.'

'Great. Bye.'

'Bye.' And with that, Jeff closes the door behind him.

When I go to the living room, Louis has already set the table for the two of us. Dan, Jay and all the kids are in school. I have had my first week of homeschooling last week and I like it. It is fairly easy so last week it was something I could do a few hours a day to take my mind of the situation.

'How did your meeting with Jeff go?' Louis asks.

'Good. I had a lot of offers from record labels, also from Syco Records but he recommended Columbia Record. I have the contract in the salon for if I decide to go with them. I wanted to ask you to read it before I make a decision.'

'Yeah, no problem. I can read it after lunch, before the lads get here.'

'Thank you. Let's eat. I'm hungry.'

'Yeah, me too.'

'Looks good to me. It doesn't say anything about the duration of the contract so you can get out anytime you want. On the other hand, is that, that can be a bad thing because they can drop you also when they want, but they would be stupid to do that. Your first song that only got leaked, went into the TOP10. And 'Sign of the Times is 10 times better. '
