Part Seven: Maya's POV

"Woah," I sigh to myself.
Just like, fifteen minutes ago I was bored out of my mind. And now thanks to a stupid call, my crush who likes me, now HATES me. *whoa whoa whoa. did I just say "crush"?! I hate that insensitive jerk! Wait? I'm Maya Heart!* "Since when do I care about all that lovey dovey stuff?!" I non-intentionally said. "I'm not gonna let this bring me down like I did with Joshua!"

Why did I have to say the "J word"?

I'll just go to sleep now. Lucas is coming tomorrow and I gust want to sleep all this nonsense off.

8:00 am the next morning

"LUCAS!!" Riley burst out saying when she saw Lucas coming off the plane. "Lucas I missed you!" she said as she tackled Lucas something fierce. "Hey, Riley! I've missed you too, all of you."
Riley looked up at him with one eyebrow raised. " You don't sound very enthusiastic. What's wrong?"

Before he could answer Farkle joined the hug."Lucas! I was almost late but I wasn't! I missed you buddy." Lucas smirked, "Handshake of awesomeness time?" At the sound of this Riley backed away at what might be the craziest handshake ever. "Oh-Yeah!"

They did their dumb handshake and then Lucas finally noticed something.
"Hey, where's Maya?"
I got up enough courage(and coolness) to walk over to him and pretend like nothing ever happened.
"Right here Ranger Rick. Took ya long enough to notice I was gone!" I said I cheerfully as I could. I did pretty well.

He looked at me confused. Like he expected me to blow a fuse or something. "Welcome back," I said to him as I playfully punched him on the arm trying not to hit him as hard as I could.

Farkle broke in."I kinda have to go but we can all meet up online later if you like!"
"Ok," Lucas said with a shrug. "Fine bye me," Riley agreed.
"Ummm..." I said scratching my head. I was kind of embarrassed because I am the only one in our group that doesn't have a lap top or even a computer.
"Maya is going to spend the night at my house, aren't you Maya." Riley said with a wink. I really do love the kid.
"Umm, yes. I'll just chat online from there." Farkle smiled, clueless as always, and said,"great see you all tonight, well text you, I mean chat, I mean goodnight."
