You hadn't realized you had fallen asleep until you heard the lock of the door. Sitting up quickly, you waited for whoever decided to enter the room. Peeking through the door, you saw Darvik slowly entering with a smile on his face.

"Hello, Y/N," he said.

He entered the room and closed the door behind him. What caught your attention, however, was the plate of food he had in his hands. It was on a dull, grey metal plate, but the colors of fruits, nuts, cheeses, and meats stuck out like a sore thumb. Darvik saw you looking at the food, and he chuckled.

"Been awhile since you've seen food like this I assume," he asked, and you replied with a nod.

Slowly, you got up, and as best as you could, you tried to hide your temptation to take the plate from him and eat all the food on the plate like an animal. Darvik walked over to the small nightstand, and he placed the plate on it. He nodded toward it, and then looked at you.

"Go ahead," he said.

You took a piece of fruit from the plate and put it in your mouth. You moaned with how sweet it tasted, then you looked over at Darvik.

"Thank you," you said in a happy voice.

Darvik chuckled, then he sat down on the bed. You looked over at him with curiosity.

"I'm to stay here until you finish," he said. "Then, I must take the plate and leave after."

You nodded in understanding, then you began to grab more of the food and eat it. After a few more bite, you stopped and looked over at Darvik.

"Have you eaten," you said with a worried voice.

Darvik looked down and chuckled, then he looked back at you.

"I'm alright," he said, but that didn't answer your question, so you looked at him with worry in your eyes.

Darvik sighs, then he looks down at the covers on the bed.

"No," he simply said. "Servants don't eat until the end of the day. We aren't of great importance really."

Picking up the plate, you placed it on the bed.

"Here, have some," you said.

Darvik shook his head and got up.

"I-I can't. That is your food," he said scared.

   You tilted your head confused.

"Of course you can, Darvik. I'm offering it to you, so go ahead and have some. You must be starving," you stated.

Hesitantly, Darvik sat back down on the bed, then he slowly took a piece of meat off the plate. He took a bite of it, then he sighed with a smile on his face. You smiled and continued to eat. The food was eventually gone from the plate, and once it was you looked up at Darvik with a sad smile.

"You're the only one in this place that has shown me any real kindness," you said to him.

Darvik smiled, then he sighed and looked away.

"I can say the same, Y/N," he said softly. "As a servant, I can never be respected. Not in this faith. We Necromongers are a race of warriors, and we are always at war, or fighting."

   He looked back at you.

"Even amongst ourselves," he said, then taking the plate with, he walked toward the door and left. Hearing the lock of the door, you knew he was gone, and you were alone... once again.
With nothing to really do, you decided to exercise to keep yourself in shape. Push ups, crunches, and squats were what you did the most of, but now that you had some room, you decided jogging around it would be a good idea as well. You exercised until you were covered in sweat. Trying to catch your breath, you looked over at the bathroom.

A shower sounds good right now, you thought to yourself.

Walking over to the bathroom, you looked at the bathtub, and decided it was best to be quick. As quickly as you could, you started the water, plugged the drain, and undressed. When you got into the tub, it was still filling, but the water was so warm and comforting, you felt all your muscles relax.
When the water was at your shoulders, you turned off the water and sank into the warm, steamy water. You sank down until your ears were under the water. You'd practically forgotten where you were and the situation you were in.

Without you knowing, the door of your room opened, and Vaako entered the room. He looked around, but didn't see you, but seeing steam from the bathroom let him know where you were. He didn't know if he should come back later or check on you. He was trying to gain your trust, but he also wanted to see what you looked like. Shaking his head, he tried to get the thought from his head.
Taking a deep breath, he walks over to the bathroom door.

I'm just checking to make sure she's okay, he told himself.

Peeking through the crack of the door, he sees your knees in the tub. He can tell you're lying back, but he decides to move forward a little. His heart pounds, as he puts all his focus into what he's doing. He creeps forward quietly, and he stops when he can see your body in the tub.
He sees how pale your skin looks, and a pain ran through him, as he can also tell how malnourished you are as well. Slowly creeping back, he exits the bathroom and decides to exit the room. Pain went through him in a way that he hadn't felt before. His face scrunched up, and he closed his eyes as he thought.

What am I feeling, he thought. Why do I feel so calm around her? She's a Breeder; a Half Breed Furyan.

Taking a breath, he walks out of the room and locks the door. Looking for Darvik, he decided he'd have the servant give you new clothing.

I feel odd when I'm not around her... as if something is missing, he thought to himself.

Walking out of his chambers, he began to walk toward the Servants' chambers to look for Darvik. When he entered the chambers the servants looked at their Lord Marshal. They all quickly stopped what they were doing and stood up.

"I'm looking for Darvik," Vaako stated, and the servants all looked toward the small Necromonger servant.

Darvik slowly stepped forward toward Vaako.

"Yes, Lord Marshal," he said.

Vaako nodded toward the chamber's door.

"Come it's me," Vaako said, then he turned and walked out of the Servants' Chambers.

Darvik quickly followed after Vaako. With his smaller legs, he had to jog to keep up with Vaako. Vaako led the Necromonger servant to his chambers, and without a word The Lord Marshal entered his chambers with Darvik in tow. After the door shut, Vaako turned to look at Darvik. The servant stopped and looked up at Vaako.

"I'd like for you to take some new clothing to Y/N," he said.

   Darvik nodded.

"Come with me," Vaako said, then he walked toward his room.

Darvik followed his Lord Marshal into his room. The Lord Marshal looked through his wife's closet and found a simple black tunic and pants.

"Here," he said as he held out the clothes.

Darvik grabbed the clothing, then he looked up at The Lord Marshal. Vaako looked down at Darvik and sighed.

"You know, I never forgot that you were my friend," Vaako said quietly.

   Darvik smiled.

"I'm glad," Darvik said. "Do you wish for me to take these to Y/N now?"

Vaako nodded at Darvik, and the servant bowed his head before he walked over to the spare bedroom you were in. Taking a deep breath, Vaako decided to strip himself of his armor and rest. There was another planet he was looking to convert, and he knew that if he was to be successful, he'd need to be well rested.
