"How dare you speak that name," you hissed.

"You," he growled back at you.

Vaako stalked over towards you. His stance threatening and protective all in the same moment. Riddick's eyes followed his nemesis' movements, then he tilted his head for a moment before a shit eating grin came across his face.

"Nice to see how my blood has come full circle," he chuckled.

Vaako tilted his head back to acknowledge you, but he never had Riddick out of his sight. Gun in hand, he turned back towards the ex-Lord Marshal.

"You're here for me," Vaako spoke lowly. "Remember?"

Riddick pulled his arm out and did something that surprised you both. The slicing of the air rang through your ears as his hand released the blade. The clanking of metal on stone felt distant, and yet it was not even fifty feet away.
"There's something far more important," he stated. "Far more important than revenge."

Vaako paused, but he didn't relax around the Furyan male. Riddick turned back towards you and Vaako raised the gun.

"Hey," he yelled. "Don't you turn your eyes towards her."

Looking back, Riddick chuckled.

"Revenge is no longer on my mind, Vaako," he stated in an oddly soft tone. "Now, I seek redemption."

His metallic eyes turned back to you, and his stance softened. It was as if he was trying to show he meant no harm, but that didn't stop Vaako from being protective. Instead, Vaako stepped around till he was beside you, keeping the gun pointed at the Furyan's head.
Riddick smirked and looked at Vaako.

"There was only ever two people who came close to taming the wild animal inside," he stated. "One was a young girl named Jake, who later became Kira, and the other? Well, the other was her mother."

Riddick's eyes looked back at you and some part of you, some deep, wild part of you seemed to perk up at his words. You couldn't explain it, but it still worried you, as you'd never felt it before. You turned your head towards Vaako.

"I don't think he means harm, at least not in this very moment," you whispered.

Vaako turned his gaze towards you. His nostrils flaring, and head tilted. He huffed before he lowed his gun. A simple act of mercy, at least for the moment.

"Your mother was a lovely woman," Riddick began. "Very calm towards me. She never feared me. Now, looking at you I can sense you have no fear, but I can also sense that the Furyan in you has been tamed, at least... momentarily."

You tense at his words, then Riddick steps closer to you making you more alert and defiant as ever. Leaning close, and staring at Vaako, Riddick spoke into your ear.

"What will the others think once they sense you both aren't true believers of the faith?"

Vaako raised his gun again.

"Get off of this ship," Vaako growled.

With a chuckle, Riddick stepped back and began to walk away. Armored guards began to block him, but you yelled at them.

"Let him go. He's learned his place. He knows he isn't welcome here."

Riddick looked over his shoulder, then he continued and walked down the hall towards the docking bay, and hopefully off of this ship. The other Necromongers watched as the full blooded Furyan disappeared into the darkness of the ship. A rumble from the ship was the only way you knew of his departure. Once he was gone, a new chaos set in.
Many Necromongers began to yell and question. Some still feared he'd be the one to destroy the Faith, but you knew his act in that prophecy was already over.

"Enough," Vaako yelled over the voices. "He will not be causing us anymore problems."

With the ending of his sentence, Vaako began to walk away from the throne room. He was angry and you knew it. You could tell by the way his body was tense and ready to fight. You were sure he was going to spar, and you decided maybe it was best you did as well. Some of the other Necromongers had dispersed and gone back to their duties, but others... well they were staring daggers at you. You looked at them and they looked away, almost in fear. Moving your armor, you looked at the glowing handprint that sat on the skin of your collarbone. It still stung, but more than anything, you felt a power from it.

With a sigh, you began to walk towards the training hall to find Vaako. You needed to spar, but you knew you'd probably harm someone else. You needed someone of equal strength, and power.
Your boots echoed through the halls as your mind began to wander. That Furyan woman... she seemed so familiar, and yet you almost didn't want to trust her. Riddick was your father, but even he seemed untrustworthy to you. He knew your secret, the one you had with Vaako. How? Could he... sense it?

Shaking your head, you tried to clear your mind, but you just couldn't stop thinking of it.

A/N: Sorry for such a LONG delay. It's been awhile I know. I'm trying to get back into writing, but hopefully my lack of motivation will go away and I can truly continue and finish this story.
