You felt Vaako as he moved his head. He looked down at you with love in his eyes. The darkness he held within them was so full of light and beauty.

"You're... beautiful," he whispered softly.

A shy smile made its way to your lips causing The Lord Marshal to smirk. He kissed you gently, then he pressed his nose against your neck. He was taking in your scent, which was something so animalistic, but also so amazing to you. He wanted your scent just as you wanted his. Maybe you and him weren't so different.
With a soft sigh, Vaako sat up.

"I have duties to attend to," he said sadly.

You looked down with a smile, then you felt his fingers on your chin. Looking up at him, you felt a chill run through you.

"I will be back in our chambers later. I do hope you're there when I return," he growled softly.

   Biting your lip, you nodded.

"I'll be there," you whispered. Vaako smiled, then he got up and he pulled his shirt and pants on. Grabbing your clothing that had ended up on the floor, he looked at your torn shirt.

"Sorry," he said shyly. You chuckled and grabbed the fabric from his hands.

"It's okay. I'm sure there's something here that you left," you said.

Vaako handed you your pants, then he went searching for a shirt for you in your old chambers. Coming back a few moments later, he'd found a dark grey shirt, and he helped you get it on. After helping you, you decided to return the favor. Strapping on his armor one piece at a time, you felt happy. It had been a long time since you'd felt this way.

After strapping on the last piece of his metal armor, Vaako turned to you. He grabbed your chin softly with his, now gloved, hand and he leaned down to give you a gentle, sweet kiss. Pulling away slightly, he pressed his forehead against yours and you were both silent. Both of you enjoyed the peace of this moment.

"I have to go," he whispered softly.

A small pain entered your heart. You didn't want him to leave just yet, but he was The Lord Marshal, and he had his own work to do.

"Okay," you said.

He kissed your forehead, then he pulled away and left the room. You stood there for a moment, and a smile made its way to your face.
Walking out of your old chambers, you walked to the chambers Vaako and you shared. The living room's coffee table was covered in fruits, nuts, and cheeses. Taking a breath, you walked towards the guest room. Looking around, you didn't know exactly what to think. You could tell Vaako had been sleeping here. The bed wasn't made, and his scent was strong.

Looking around, you smiled and felt a warm feeling. There was a huge respect you had for him. He had planned to have you, however, he had given you the space you needed. Even if you hadn't become a part of his life, he would've kept you around. You know it was wrong to think that you would've been a slave, but in a way it had given you a great freedom.
You could wander this ship. You could leave it if you wanted. The thought came up, but it also quickly went away. You now knew that you didn't want to leave. You were part of the Necromongers, but you were also The Lord Marshal's wife. You were more than that even. You could feel it. Your instincts felt strong, and your senses were strong. This freedom was powerful, and you knew it.

*LATER THAT NIGHT*

You were waiting in the darkness of the bedroom. Before he had even set food in the chambers, you could hear his footsteps, the scraping of his metal armor, and the calm breaths he took. His smell made its way into the room, and you remained silent. The darkness was your ally. The Lord Marshal stalked toward the room slowly. Slowly stalking towards his prey. However, he didn't realize that you were the predator.
The Lord Marshal paused in the doorway. He listened for you, and looked into the darkness, waiting for anything. Taking a deep breath, The Lord Marshal stepped into the room.

"Oh, little one. I know you're here. I can hear the breaths you take, no matter how silent you try to be. I can feel your presence," he whispered.

His voice was dark, and it sent a chill through you. It made you crouch down, ready to pounce.

"Come on. Come out, or do I have to come get you myself," he spoke softly, then he looked into the dark corner where you sat.

A smirk made its way onto his face, and the light from outside of the ship made his eyes glow.

"Gotcha," he said in a deep tone. Taking a few steps towards you, he chuckled.

With a smile on your face, you jumped up at him. Reacting by catching you, he fell back onto the floor. You pinned his arms down with your hands, and you looked down at his face.

"It seems that I've 'gotcha'," you said sarcastically. With a smirk, he pushed you off with his leg, and pinned you onto your stomach.

"Always pay attention to your weak points," he said softly into your ear. He kissed just behind your ear, and a chill went through your body. The air felt alive with energy, and your animal side was wanting to be free.
