2.1. Brothers past

Sans POV

I opened my eye sockets as everything was blurry at first 'where am i?' i thought to myself before my eyesight finally settles to see a tall skeleton "hello there babybones" he sais with a big smile on his face 'babybones?' i thought in confusion before i suddenly realised 'w-who is that? He scares me' i thought to myself as i started to cry. He chuckled and made some weird noises but it made me feel calm "there there, no need to be afraid. I am gaster and i am your father, so as long as i am here your safe" he sais but i can't really understand what he's saying, but i do feel happy. The taller skeleton held me close against him as he was leaking from his eye sockets, he started to move and laid me down in something as i started to miss his company "hey shh it's going to be alright sans" he cooed at me as i stare up at him. He closes whatever it is i am in up only leaving a gap so i could see him, unfamiliar voices started to surround him as i felt we were moving. My eyesockets started closing as i fell asleep, only to wake up in an unfamiliar environment "welcome home sans, oh right i forgot to tell you that your name is sans" the taller skeleton chuckles as i felt really happy "goooooooo!" i raised my hands up in happiness as he had the widest smile ever. "Gaster?" another voice calls out "i am here grillby!" he replies and i still can't understand a single thing they are saying. A very orange/yellowish monster walks up to us as they gasped "is this?" "yes it is" "he's adorable" "sans meet grillby, grillby meet sans" i reach out and touch his face "groooooo, groooo" he chuckles "well it's a start little sans. So what now?" this monster looks up at the taller skeleton as i took the chance to grab those rectangular things off his face "oooooooo" "well i raise him of course" "alone?" "well of course...but i guess i can use some assistance" they both chuckle before the monster takes back the rectangular things and places it back onto his face "i would love to".

~Time skip to his first words~

"d...da-dada...dada!" the taller skeleton who i came to know now as my dad cried tears of joy "did you hear that grillby? He said his first words and they are dada" "good job sans" "s-sa...snas....sans...sans! Sans!" they both looked at me in disbelief and then cooed praises at me.

~Time skip to his first steps~

My father sat on the other side with his arms wide open, it felt like he was inviting me in for a hug while i was holding onto Grillby's hands "you can do it sans, come to daddy" my father cooed as i let go of the warm hands and tried my very best to take one step at a time until i fell into my fathers hands "good job sans! You made it this time" i giggled and nuzzled into his chest as he held me close.

~Time skip to 5 years old~

I sat on the playground, silently crying as i was bullied by some kids, they didn't like that i was smarter then them. But i mett Alphys and she was consoling me while her friend Undyne chased away the bullies "d-don't be sad sans, t-they just don't undewstand why y-you'we way smawtew then they awe" i smiled softly as she said that while Undyne came back with a huff "i will get those good for nuttings next time" she sais while pounding her fist into her hand. Undyne is only two years older then us but i'm glad i mett her and that she was my friend. Though the bullying never stopped and i always came home trying to hide it from my father, but he somehow always figured out what was happening and did something against it. But one day i came home and my father was over the moon as he held something in his arms that was wrapped into a blanket "sans i have great news" "w-what is it?" he kneels down and shows me the bundle of blankets as there was a babybones inside of it "say hello to your brother papyrus" he sais as i gasp in surprise "he is so cute!" i exclaim while the babybones seemed to be still asleep.

Papyrus POV

I opened my eyesockets and saw a tall skeleton as i looked confused at him "oh look father he's awake" i hear a voice say next to me. I can't understand what they said but i still looked at them, they seemed happy and i felt curious about them so i reached out grabbing his index finger. His eyelights changed shape as i giggle and coo at the star shaped eyelights he made. He holds me closer to his face so i could touch it and touch it i did, as i made all sort of happy noises. The taller skeleton hugged both of us as they talked to each other and i still couldn't understand what they were saying. But all this excitement made me tired as i yawned and close my eyesockets as i dozed off.
