1.4. File Mettaton

No ones POV

After she helped out Alphys she had some explaining to do with the skeleton brothers as to why she was there and why in all the places she slept in Gaster's arms underneath all of those papers. It was safe to say that she was scolded by Papyrus, Sans on the underhand reconized those bags all to well since he used to have them as well and this made him worry about her wellbeeing. When Papyrus was done lecturing both Gaster and Livie, he offered to make them breakfast and even though everyone seemed exstatic about it, she just declined stating that she had alot of work still left to do. When she was about to leave she just bumps into a wall wich startled the other three "n-nothing to worry about...j-just a miscalculation by my legs" Livie said akwardly as she made it to the hallway only for someone else to kick in the door "GEUSS WHO DARLINGS!". The three skeletons joined Livie in their hallway as Papyrus lights up "WOWIE it's mettaton, look sans it's mettaton!!" "yeah...i hope you can fix our door though..." Sans sais in an annoyed tone "oh pssh darling, i am a popstar now so ofcours i can fix your door" Mettaton replies as he quickly fixes the door. Livie on the other hand couldnt help but notice the expression Mettaton made when his eyes locked onto her 'dont tell me...' she thought to herself as she had a small theory in her mind as to why. "i was just about to make some breakfast, do you want to join us?" Papyrus asks "but ofcours darling~, i heard you improved alot with your cooking skills" Mettaton replied, Livie who was about to sneak past Mettaton didnt make it far or she was pulled back inside by Mettaton "why darling dear, dont you need to eat breakfast as well?" "i-i have alot of work to do s-so eum" Livie replied as Mettaton throws her onto his shoulder "nonsense darling, work can wait, breakfast is a very important meal of the day" Livie felt as if she had no choice in the matter especially not with him around. They ate breakfast togheter and it was kinda noticeable that Livie was hungry as she ate 3 plates of papyrus's cooking while everyone else was still at their first plate. "my darling, you seemed like you hadnt eaten in days" Mettaton sais as Livie's pupils vanished 'SHIT!!! what do i say...what do i say?!!!' she thought to therself before clearing her throat "i just...love papyrus's cooking is all" "really?" Papyrus sais with sparkles of joy in his eyes "ofcours pap, no one cookies better then you do" Livie replies as ofcours this saved her boney ass, since Mettaton seemed to believe her word for it. Ofcours Sans and Gaster were still suspicious about her behaviour "well look at the time, i need to continiue with my work, wouldnt be caught beeing a lazy bones now would i" she sais before sticking out her tounge in a silly way. Livie then made it out of their house and quickly back to her as she closes the frontdoor "that was close...too close for comfort...i dont want them to worry about me" she sais as she went to the basement to train a bit.

~Time skip to several hours later~

Livie had just gotten herself showered and dressed but got a text message from Mettaton himself as it was an invitation to see studio. Livie couldnt decline this as she texted back and asked for the adress, but he texted back that his limousine was already waiting outside for her. Livie sighed heavely and took her shoulder bag with her since she had this sneaking suspicion that this wasnt for a tour around the studio. The driver opens the door as Livie enters the car only to see Mettaton sitting across from her "mettaton? i thought i was going to see you at the studio" Livie sais as Mettaton pushes a button that made a black window go up so the driver wouldnt be able to hear us "well yess darling, but...*sigh* i heard from Alphys how you helped her and even Asgore and Toriel...so i am sorry to do this during the ride to the studio but...could you atleest hear me out?" the car was already driving towards the studio as Livie sighed while taking out her clipboard and pen. "ofcours i wil" Livie replied as Mettaton looks suprised at her "do you take that with you everywhere?" Mettaton asks "no i dont, i just had this feeling you needed my help but felt insecure as to wether or not you should. but now that feel comfortable and ready to ask for my help, how about you tell me what exactly is bothering you?" Livie replied as Mettaton took a more relaxed posture. Livie was waiting for mettaton to speak but it seems like he had and internal struggle going on inside his mind at it looked like he was stuck there so Livie used her green magic wich made her eyelights, soul and hair turn green. she lets little wisps float around inside the car around mettaton and her, when the wisps touch mettaton it immediately gives off this warm and safe feeling, well atleest for Mettaton since it varies from beeing to beeing. "mettaton remember, i am here to help. so no matter what you will say i wont refuse to help you or see you differently" Livie sais as Mettaton then sat up straight "right...i believe alphys has already told you that i wasnt created by her...right?" Mettaton sais as Livie nods "but she hasnt told me how exactly you came to be the you we see today" Live replied. Mettaton sighs "well...you see...i am blooky's cousin wich means that i am technicly not a robot but a ghost monster" Livie looks at her suprised "i see so i'm geussing that alphys made you this body and you possessed it, right?" "that is correct, you see i was always good at singing and entertainment. you know all the things i do today on the surface now. i always wanted this, the bling the glamor then fame the many adoring fans...alphys made it happen all i had to do was fake that i was a a human killing robot for alphys to prove to asgore that she had was using her mind for the best interest in the underground...after that i could do what i wanted. i let the fame and fortune get to my head as i made so many mistakes and so many wrong choices...choices i couldnt back out from anymore" Mettaton explained as they finally arrived at the studio "let's continue this inside my changing room" Mettaton the sais as Livie nodded and put everything back into her shoulder bag, ofcours she didnt expect an entire newscrew to be there and bombard Mettaton with questions "darlings i would love to answer them but i need to get ready for my show" he sais as takes my hand and goes inside the building rather hastely. We finally make it to the changing room as i sit down on a random chair "that was sertainly a hassle..." she states as Mettaton agreed while he sat down on his luxurious looking chair. Livie takes out her clipboard and pen again as she then looks straight at him "even so you seem to have gotten over it already with help from Frisk" Mettaton sighs " yess that is true darling, but there is one thing they could never help me with, no matter how hard they tried" Livie raises a non-existing eyebrow "and that is what exactly?" "i never told my nephew the truth...he still thinks i am in the underground lost or stuck or something like that" Mettaton replies. Livie stares at Mettaton "what makes you so afraid to tell him the truth?" "i was a horrible person back then like i said...but what made me horrible was the way i treated him...you see he has this huge amount off talent for making the greatest kind of music...but he just wastes it away. in a way i hated him for that, wich blinded me to see how sweet, kind and yet very insecure. i treated him like trash like he was way beneath me in a indirect way ofcours...i also never replied to his fan letters to me as i thought they were a desperate attempt to steal my popularity. even after everything i have put him through he was still so nice to me...wich makes me afraid what his reaction would be" Mettaton explains "i think he's the type of monster that would easily forgive their friends and familly. so why doubt that? isnt it worth to take chances if it means you could grow closer to eachother as reall familly?" Livie replies as she looks at Mettaton with a kind smile, honestly it suprised Mettaton but then he stoof up "you are right, i will tell him the truth right away!" Mettaton sais as he gets up wich confused Livie. Ofcours she followed Mettaton until she saw him going onstage for his show, but to her suprised Blooky was already there as Mettaton had organized this entire event just to make sure that he wouldnt back out from it again. Livie sighed happily "what a silly robot, inviting me for a chat only so you could get a confidence boost, oh well" she sais softly as she watches the entire show from backstage. That is until she suddenly was brought onto stage for the big reveal "and thus shall this wonderful skeleton reveal what has been hidden!!" Mettaton sais wich confused Livie more but then she realized that Mettaton was trying to wiggle his way out of this one "oh yess and what a wonderful thing it is" she replies 'if he thinks i will tell blooky for him then no can do buddy' she thought to herself as she then uses her magic to create a bone "behold the truth bone!". Mettaton stares at her "eum...what?" Livie then smirks "it will reveal ones funny bone!" Mettaton groans "seems like someone already lost their funny bone" she jokes "you see the great power of this truth bone already revealed that mettaton has no funny bone! speaking of bones, how did the skeleton knew it was going to rain?" Mettaton groans even more in annoyance "because he felt it down to the bone, i know that one already" Livie turns around with a big smirk "no, he watched the weatherforecast you dingus". "AAARRGGGHHH, this isnt what i meant. you know damn well that i want you to tell blooky that i am his lost cousin!" Mettaton blurts out in anger before suddenly realizing what he just did. "w-wait so your m-my cousin?" Blooky asks as Mettaton sighs "yess it's me blooky, i...am sorry i never told you before. but i am telling you now because i want us to stay close togheter as we used to. can you ever forgive me for what i've done?" "o-ofcours, i could never really be m-mad at you mettaton, i'm just g-glad that my cousin became a s-star" Blooky replied.

~Small time skip~

The show has ended as Livie was allowed ot go back home now "i am very grateful for your help, but please...next time leave the puns behind if you want me to say things myself" Mettaton sais "well atleest you learned that you need to do things on your own now without a mediator" Livie replied. They both waved at eachother before she was brought back to her house via Limousine, it was safe to say that sh gotten a few looks from her neighbours that day when she stepped out of that limousine.
