Surfacetale chapter 3: Weird coincidences.

3.1: School drama

It has been several months now since the incident as alot had happend during that period of time. After the Skeleton brothers discovered the origins of their pasts, they started to come over to Livie's house more often since then. At first it was weird for Livie because she would have to tell them to go often since they would be late for their jobs. But she soon started to get used to their visits even during her own working hours, but she always prepared something for them to keep them busy until she was done working. One day Papyrus started to clean up her file room out of boredom and found a list of schools Livie has personally visited. This list contained schools who were inspected by her and judged wich leaded to either keep existing or closed down. This however gave Papyrus an idea wich he told Sans about first and as expected he dismissed the idea as 'terrible' so he stormed of to tell Livie about his idea. Meanwhile Livie was just done with her session as she heard loud thump noises and the closer the noise got the more they seemed like footsteps 'what in the world is that?' she wondered. "LIVIEEEEE" Papyrus shouted out in excitement as he slammed open the door to her livingroom. Livie was startled by Papyrus "WHAT THE FUCK PAP!!". "i the great papyrus have a brilliant idea!" he stated as Livie sat there staring at him. "i found your list of school's you went to! so naturally i the great papyrus thought of this brilliant plan wich includes you visiting miss toriel's school!!!" Papyrus explained as he made the happiest smile. Sans stood right behind him as he signed with his hand towards Livie, telling her to decline his request. Livie noticed and immediatly looked up to Papyrus and oh boy did she instantly regretted looking up at him. Papyrus was doing the pupydog eyes thing as Livie had a hard time saying something to Papyrus. Sans was signing towards her again 'no, livie dont you dare!'. Livie sighed and gave in "a-alright papyrus i will eum give it a shot..." she said with a fake smile. "REALLY!! i knew you would agree with me. i will tell miss toriel about your arrival" Papyrus ran off. Sans walks up to her "you cracked dint you?" he said slightly joking. "i could'nt help iiiiiit" she sobbed "he was to cute and innocent to say no to". Sans chuckles and leaves "welp i geuss you could say that you're boned" he fingers at her. Livie's face flushed a light cyan color "SANS" she threw a slipper at him as he dodged it "i know you said that with two purposes you perv!". Sans chuckled and ran home. 'maybey he's right...i should be stronger then this...but this is still all to knew for me' she thought to herself while gripping her chest. With a heavy sigh Livie went to get everything prepared for tomorrow before she headed of to bed. The next morning Livie left very early as she already was infront of the schoolbuilding holding her clipboard with papers on it and a pen in one arm as in the other she was holding a big coffee mug. She was wearing a small backpack on her back as she was waiting for Toriel to arrive so they could enter the building togheter. "goodmorning Dr.flower, were you waiting for a long time?" Toriel's voice suddenly sounded as livie looked at the right to see her just walking up to her. Livie took a sip of her coffee before she replied with a smile "oh no, i just arrived here myself actually" why did she feel the need to lie to her? Livie dint get it herself until she noticed the slightly darker circles underneath Toriel's eyes. 'she must've had a rough night...i dont blame her...it's my fault after all...' Livie thought to herself. Toriel herself was holding her briefcase in one hand and her keys in the other. After Toriel unlocked the doors they went inside the building togheter as it was empty and silent. While Livie followed Toriel to her office she would take in her new surroundings before the students came. When Livie entered Toriel's office she noticed how clean and organized it was 'man...she must really feel bored in here somethimes to keep it this clean' she thought to herself. Livie then clears her throat "i believe papyrus must've brought you up to speed about why i'm here. but there is something i need to tell you about my inspection. i only inspect the building during class sessions and break periods. the reason i do this is because that way i can observe the teachers and students. i will also be observing other things wich i wont reveal to you since i know you would try to adjust those things. eventually at the end of the day i will be making my results at home and will give this school a category of its own, since i know this school is not like the other schools i've visited." she explained attentively. "i understand, i would like to ask when will you show us those results?". "well normally it takes a few days, but i dont want this to drag on longer then it has to be so i will try and show them tomorrow." Livie answered. Toriel nodded and as soon as they ended their conversation, they could hear the teachers coming into the building. Toriel stood up and went to the teachers lounge room while Livie naturally followed her. Inside the teacher's lounge room she would stand next to Toriel who gave a short briefing "this is Dr.flower and she will be observing our school today. so i would like to ask everyone to be yourself even if Dr.flower is there.". Some teachers started to chuckle or giggle softly after hearing Livie's last name. Livie sighed "alright i know my last name sounds ridiculouse but remember that i am here to observe and not to be made fun of" she said with a stern voice as the teachers were taken back by the way she replied. The bell Rang and Livie took a deep breath before she started her observation process. She spend all day long observing the teachers, students and the classes they had. She observed them during break time as they were allowed to sit outside or inside the building. She would observe the canteen for hygiene reasons, she observed if the building had the necesary things installed for safety. She soon found out that teachers and students had paper sheets with them at all times wich were their safety guide instructions incase of emergencies wich suprised her a little bit but in a good way. Hours would pass by quickly as school ended. she would leave the school with Toriel to make sure that she would not forget anything. The moment Livie entered her house she would use her magic to port to her office. She wasted no time typing out her report and finally making the results even if it took her the whole night. She printed off the results and neatly placed them in a map placing a stamp on it. "finished!" she said proudly as she yawned afterwards "now time for bed" she sais. But the sun suddenly rose up as only then Livie noticed she had worked until morning. She sighed as she left her office do go downstairs towards the kitchen "coffee should keep me up until i am back from my visit at the school" she mumbled to herself. Hours later she had showered and changed into fresh clothing ready to go back to Toriel's school. However she was sipping constantly out of a container wich had soda inside it with high sugar levels 'this really tastes so good. i'm lucky this works better then the coffee plan' she thought to herself as she was already having a sugar rush even with the lack of sleep. Livie smile brightly as her pupils where shaped as stars while walking down the hallway towards Toriel's office. She knocked onto the door and waited for a responce before entering. "ah, Dr.flower it is nice to see you smil...ling?" Toriel stood up and quickly went to Livie to examine her face "oh dear! dont tell me you worked all night to get me your report?" Toriel clearly sounded worried. Livie was confused until she finally realized that she still looked tired as this realization sunk in she pulled her face away from Toriel's hands and handed her the results. "t-tell the teachers about the r-results during breaktime oke?" Livie sais hastfully as she quickly left the office 'what the fuck is wrong with me? i should'nt be so careless about how i look li...' she thought to herself as her train of thought stopped as she started to wobble. She felt the energy leaving her body again so she took another sip from her sugary soda as her energy returned."Livie!!" a familiar voice sounded through the hallway wich made Livie turn around only to see Papyrus walk up to her "did you bring the results? are they good?" Papyrus was so hyper this morning wich was no suprise to her. "yess and yess but you will hear about that during the break" Livie answered as she could tell that this made Papyrus happy. Suddenly Undyne came "hey papyrus are you coming? the students are waiting!! oh hi livie" she said as her eyes suddenly sparked, this was bad because that meant she had an idea "you have really strong bones right? perfect!!! you can show these kids what happens when you take good care of yourself" Undyne drags Livie with her into the gym as Papyrus follows suit. Livie was internally sobbing and and thinking 'whyyyyyy...'. "alright listen up punks! this here is miss pffff flower and she is a very strong skeleton lady" Undyne explains. Livie just stood there wishing she could go home. Suddenly Undyne told Livie to lift stuff and do some magic tricks. Livie was afraid she would say that but there was no turning back now and she showed off some of her basic bone attacks, transformed her legs to use speed as she ran ten laps in a few seconds. The students were amazed by what she could all do as they asked for more, but suddenly Livie felt her skull burning up as she walks over to Papyrus with a smile "pap can we talk for a sec" she asks as she leads Papyrus outside the gym class. "so what is it you wanted to ta-" Papyrus was cutt off by Livie suddenly collapsing infront of him as he quickly caught her. Livie's breathing became rapid as she felt her soul pounding inside her chest. Papyrus quickly brought her to the school's nurse and pleaded the nurse to help him. The nurse seeing Papyrus carrying a sick female skeleton rushed to get her on a bed as she told Papyrus to wait outside while she would try to reduce the fever. Papyrus ran back to Undyne to wispher into her hear about what had happend wich made Undyne force a smile and told the students they were going to do something fun now. Hours went by before Livie finally woke up only to see she was back home and in her bed. Just then Papyrus walks in with a tray with food on it as he just noticed Livie awake already "are you feeling any better now?" he asks her. Livie nodded "i am so sorry papyrus...i thought i would last longer" she sais halfjoking. Papyrus sighed "you should have said something. but no matter i the great papyrus brought you home and took care of you so it is garenteed that you will become better in no time. nyehehehe~" he sais in his happy tone. He left the tray on her nightstand before he told Livie he had to get back to his job. Livie smiled and thanked him before he left her house. Livie sighed and stared at the ceiling feeling as though she was a burden to him.

so it came to my attention that my chapters were to long to read, so i decided to post them in pieces but keeping the title numbers so you all know where you are at. thank you for notifying me so i can work on this better in the future :3.
